I only have one Greater Truth Phoenix Feather. I gave it to you. Do you still don’t understand my feelings? Hope this phoenix hairpin can protect you in my behalf.
Arya Stark + Favorite Story Arc ↳ Arya’s character arc in A Clash of Kings shows her as a child struggling to be brave and strong while traveling through a warzone, only to be captured and enslaved by the Lannisters. She sees herself as a sheep and a mouse as she has been stripped of most of her autonomy and must serve the people who are abusing her and warring against her family. The three death wishes Jaqen offers her as repayment for saving his life and the lives of two others, gives Arya a sense of strength and control as she sees herself as the Ghost of Harrenhal. But that strength is completely rooted in her relationship with Jaqen and will disappear once each wish is made. Regaining a level of agency, Arya manipulates the last wish to her advantage by naming Jaqen so he will help her free the captured Northmen in exchange for being unnamed. This gains her a higher position at Harrenhal and bolsters her confidence in the process. She fully regains her strength and autonomy in her final chapter after the Old Gods remind her of who she is and she reclaims her identity as a direwolf who is done with wooden teeth. She then saves herself and her friends by escaping Harrenhal.

My mission is to protect you. — Yeah? Who sent you? — You did. Thirty-five years from now, you reprogrammed me to be your protector here, in this time. — Oh, this is deep.

Of all the ways Jaime can die, the worst of them is by dragonfire, because it would be seen as his ultimate punishment for killing Aerys and I will not stand for this weak ass anticlimactic death for him.
Lmao he got killed by some fucking bricks 🤡🤡🤡
Actually got this a long time ago, but I thought the rest of the Targ community might appreciate it!
This stunning embroidered brooch by DelicatebeadsByElena on Etsy. She's an amazing artist, and seemed like a wonderful person in our brief interactions. This wonderful work of art really did my queen justice (although my photos don't)!
Arya desperately wanted to explain, to make him see. “I was trying to learn, but …” Her eyes filled with tears. “I asked Mycah to practice with me.” The grief came on her all at once. She turned away, shaking. “I asked him,” she cried. “It was my fault, it was me …” Suddenly her father’s arms were around her. He held her gently as she turned to him and sobbed against his chest. “No, sweet one,” he murmured. “Grieve for your friend, but never blame yourself. You did not kill the butcher’s boy. That murder lies at the Hound’s door, him and the cruel woman he serves.” “I hate them,” Arya confided, red-faced, sniffling. “The Hound and the queen and the king and Prince Joffrey. I hate all of them. Joffrey lied, it wasn’t the way he said. I hate Sansa too. She did remember, she just lied so Joffrey would like her.” – Arya II, A Game of Thrones
