I could go on and on about why all that AI "art" is bad. I could mention theft, lack of creativity, it's impact on the work field and environment, but countless people have already said all that. I wanted to touch on something that to me is the most utterly wrong about all of it.
Art is more than just something pretty to look at or listen to. It's therapeutic. It's a form of communication. A tool for human connection. It's a pure, human need.

for the slow but real trickle of regretful trump voters becoming slightly self-aware, just remember every single one of them voted with the intention of doing as much harm as possible to immigrants, black people, women, queer people, unions, working class, homeless people, elderly people, disabled people, veterans, and as many poor people in other countries as possible.
your coworkers, your family, your friends, your church groups, all of them were told what would actually happen. all of them were warned. it didn't matter. they want to hurt as many "othered" people as possible and that's exactly what they voted for. repeatedly.
their only regret is that all the harm they voted for is starting to hurt them too and they dont like it. they're upset cuz they feel betrayed, not cuz they suddenly realized what they wanted is wrong.
imo none of these people should be forgiven, nor should anyone ever forget the choices they willingly, repeatedly, made to make this world a significantly worse place for everyone else, and funnily enough, for their own damn selves too. i hope every trump voter rots with the consequences of their vote, just like the rest of us have to.

please don't think you should stop helping palestinians because there is a ceasefire now. even if there is no more active bombing and shooting, people still struggle to survive. people return to their houses to see them in rubble, people still struggle to afford necessities like food, water and clothes, still have only tents over their head, and have lost their jobs with no means of income to support themselves or their family. this isn't even touching the mental turmoil people are going through which is unimaginable.
