Kaiju2026 - Prince of the World

Kaiju 2026 - Prompt 9: Zombie + Half-and-Half

They were originally going to be the multi-tool day but felt they fit with this prompt instead.

Took a lot of inspiration from Hellstar Remina for how to texture the top of the Flesh Spire's head here

[This is the prompt list I'm following] ===== BIO:

Although it's unknown how exactly it was done, somehow a communication was sent from the over-water platform atop the Flesh Spire.

A being, calling themselves "The Prince of the World" appeared on the screens of billions of people. Obviously related to other Altangloids, due to being covered in Ascent tech, they've separated themselves by speaking to humans. Not just speaking, but speaking in at least five different languages, seeming to want to spread their message as far as possible.

In their speech, they spoke of some sort of paradise and spoke of evolution. They plan to help humanity evolve into a new form, first starting with creating a new landmass to start their experiments from named Pacifica. The landmass made entirely of the Flesh Spire as it grew by consuming more biomass and technology.

They (unsure if the Prince meant the "royal we" or hinting to other Altangloids) encourage people to visit Pacifica should they want to 'evolve into their perfect selves' and assure world governments that they mean no harm to the planet nor humanity. If they are attacked however, they promise swift, destructive vengeance.

The Prince ends their message by promising more communications between them and the rest of humanity, as to not repeat the errors of the past (possibly referencing the reign of the Cursed King?)

Almost immediately world governments responded, not with attacks, but with avoidance. Wary of what the Prince meant by 'swift, destructive vengeance', all governments created and exclusion zone around the Flesh spire, warning for all vessels to avoid its path, and to vacate all island nations who'd be within an 100km radius of the future Pacifica 'landmass.' Further, any contact between the Titans and all Ascent technology has been deemed strictly forbidden, due to using the same tech who gave rise to the Cursed King, or are using King's Flesh directly in their technology.

Despite their involvement with using King's Flesh and their machines partially being responsible for the Flesh Spire, the Ascent has denied any direct communication with the Prince of the World, and are approaching the situation with caution, though against the warnings of world governments, they intend to send scouting machines to Pacifca to investigate what is going on.

Kaiju2026 - Surgeon Engineer

Kaiju 2026 - Prompt 8: Multi-tool + Baobab TS took FOREVER to do holy shit. I hope the various limbs coming out of a central point gets the 'baobab' sort of design across.

Also I think this is the first drawing I've done to actually show the titans interacting? If you read the lore you'll know its more common than I usually draw it lol.

Not entirely certain how their meeting was set up, Vorpal had set up a meeting with Engravita, possibly implying that whomever can become Vorpal has been able to track down Engravita in her human form far better and more accurately than the KDF

As the details of what the meeting specifically was about is unknown to the general public, all that is known is those who were close enough to the giants to listen to and record the conversation between the two titans. Though unclear, the recordings and eyewitnesses attest to Vorpal speaking of 'improvements' and 'allowing Engravita more freedom' somehow.

Shortly into their conversation, a portal opened up, which caused a non-destructive spacial distortion which widened the area between the buildings, and cause them to lense around the area where a massive white beast emerged, not unlike Dithoumus from the year before. Called the "Surgeon Engineer" by Vorpal in the recordings, further details of their meeting become less clear, as the appearance of the Surgeon Engineer caused most to vacate the area. Camera recordings from nearby helicopters prove unreliable as the Surgeon Engineer's distortion also effected the cameras, either making the titans blurry, or straight-up breaking others.

Before the KDF could even arrive to the scene, the two were already gone along with the Surgeon Engineer, leaving Engravita's fate and whereabouts unknown, as even the trackers on Engravita's armour couldn't pinpoint any location at all.

Kaiju2026 - P7: Kulizoa

Kaiju 2026 - Prompt 7: Bonfire + Polymorphic

And the kaiju with the most amount of animal inspirations goes to… This thing IG

Another really experimental one. Took a long time on the concept side and the art side. Not sure if I'll ever do something like this again but I really like the concept I came up with here.

Originally the polyp form was going to look way more like a campfire but it kind strayed away a little.

Found on the coastal forests of northern Vietnam all the way to Korea and Japan, Kulizoa were, at first thought to all be different animals. The naming of the different life stages has come into question, as though their lifestyle is most akin to a hydrozoan, with a motile and sessile stage, the lack of reproductive organs on the mature polyp implies schizogamy, more akin to epitokal polychetes.

Nevertheless, up until now, the stages most well known were the so called 'eft' and 'nymphal' stages. Their spawn and tadpole stages were also known, but to a lesser degree. The former thought to be some species of foxfire fungus, and the latter thought to be some species of 'hairy fish'. Other than their unusual lifecycle, Kulizoa are somewhat unremarkable. Smaller than most kaiju, they mostly fill the roles of mid-tier consumers, eating everything smaller than them and being eaten by larger kaiju, though it's thought their tadpole stages specifically play an important role in feeding smaller aquatic kaiju, possibly even being eaten by Kulizoa nymphs.

Unknown to researchers, their tadpole stages have also been eaten by humans for a long time, though residents of these areas had no idea that they were connected to any of the other life stages.

Kaiju2026 - The Flesh Spire

Kaiju 2026 - Prompt 6: Moving Island + Noodle

One or my most experimental ones since I started to do backgrounds. The result is meh but I think it gets the concept across. Also gets the record for the largest Kaiju I've ever made, next to maybe Temtelal from the first Kaijune I did.

I would've posted this like two days ago but I got real bad food poisoning and was toilet-bound oops

Seen around the edge Asia-Oceania portion of the pacific ring of fire, what was at first thought to be a sailor's tale of some sort of drifting island was eventually found to be true when both the KDF and Eco-K went to investigate these rumours. What nobody was prepared for was the behemoth that was discovered. A massive monolith of a monster drags itself across the sea floor with a mass of human limbs, the island portion connected by an enormous neck which makes up over 90% of the Flesh Spire's height, though the full length has yet to be discovered, as getting too close to the creature is deemed unsafe.

The strange, fleshy creature akin to many of the beasts made from the Cursed King's mutagenic flesh, it also had elements of Sigcophon and Great Tangle within its anatomy, hinting to a possible Altangloid origin. Despite this immediate recognition, the Ascent denies any intentional wrongdoing, nor that they specifically caused this creature to exist.

As of now, the only actions able to be taken are to evacuate anyone within a 10 - 20km radius of the organism, and to figure out a way to destroy the creature without inadvertently cutting it into smaller pieces that would eventually grow into more copies.

Kaiju2026 - P5: SkyGarry

Kaiju 2026 - Prompt 5: Rotorblade + Long Legs

Despite how simple of a design this is, I actually really like how this came out. This also marks a 5/5 for the drawings this year having a part of their body obscured by the background so I guess I'm obligated to keep it up if I can lol

Almost 2 years after Crauziera was destroyed by the the Royal Throne, the KDF have been at work to manufacture a replacement. After failed attempts to make a 'Crauziera 2', they eventually landed on something far more simple and small. The Specialty Kaiju Defense Machine - Flying Garage, or the nickname it was given, the SKDM-FG SkyGarry.

The SkyGarry is an oversized cargo helicopter meant to be flown out to areas where Wheelers can't be fielded fast enough. It has telescopic legs in order to land on uneven terrain, expanding where it can drop its cargo despite its length.

Though it has no armaments itself, the specially designed M7-000 series 'Bullpup' mechs are meant to fit within the smallest cargo hold variants the SkyGarry has. Although it can use wider cargo holds, the most common 3 smaller garages on each side is meant to cause as little shaking within the holds as possible when the Bullpups are flown in. The wider cargo holds with a single large bay door are used almost exclusively for transporting machine parts to battlefields.

The Bullpup mechs themselves are meant less to fight hand-to-hand with kaiju, and rather to provide fire support. Outfitted with miniaturized versions of the Wheelers' plasma rifles, although they're not as strong, their smaller size and all-terrain feet allow them to be used in more scenarios, and can even shoot out of the SkyGarry when in flight, if being at risk of falling out.

Kaiju2026 - P4: Rarambolte

Kaiju2026 - Prompt 4: Leaper + Big Stompers

Only 4 prompts in and this one had an entirely different concept before I settled on this one, all I knew is that I wanted to make a creature that can jump, but doesn't use its legs to do so. Might honestly be one of my favourite creature designs I've done to date.

Also the Background of this art took more time than the creature did in its entirety lol

I've also noticed the BGs on each of my 2026 kaiju drawings have had part of it obscure the creature itself... Maybe I'll keep this up? Maybe not.

BIO:

Though originally discovered in the mangrove forests of Borneo, Rarambolte have now been discovered across the world. Although having massive forelimbs, they don't use them to jump, and rather use the webbing between their toes to slow their descent and maneuver towards their prey; instead, they use a pair of bony rods placed at the end of their tail, which quickly flicks downwards and catapults them into the air.

It's been discovered by Eco-K researchers that Rarambolte spend nearly their entire lives on the surface of the water, and will cross entire oceans by using their large front fins to swim. Their reduced hind limbs are used for more minute motions, such as spinning in place to get a better angle to leap at their prey.

When their ranges overlap, Rarambolte often come to blows with Kayamiina, though it's unknown if Kayamiina specifically hunt Rarambolte, or if the Rarambotle specifically seek out Kayamiina in order to fight. Althought Kayamiina usually win these fights, Rarambolte have increasingly been seen attacking Kayamiina in gangs of 3 - 5 individuals, implying them to be far less solitary than first thought.

Kaiju2026 - P3: NM03 - Attache

Kaiju2026 - Prompt 3: Double-Decker + Hunchback

Originally only the 'horse' part of the mech was going to be hunchbacked, but I gave the 'human' half a hunchback too. Also DAMN posing a quadruped with a human on their back is hard as hell.

BIO:

Meant to be a more stable version of the Alter, the NM03 - Attache has two pilots within each machine, one controlling the 'underbody', and one controlling the 'gunner' body. Though light on details specific details on how the machine works, the Attache is notably faster than any machine before it, and is the only machine they've made to date with exposed flesh, revealing that even despite the issues caused by the Altangloid, the Ascent continue to use their modified version of King's Flesh. It's currently unknown how they've been acquiring it, nor how they've been able to secure the quantity of it that must be used in the Alter and now the Attache.

As of current, their only goal with the Attache to to respond to any Alter that goes berserk, as they intend to entirely replace them with the Attache.

Kaiju2026 - P2 Dunvator

Kaiju2026 - Prompt 2: Battering Ram + Galvanized

Ok I'll admit, the galvanized portion of this reads kinda poorly, but I spent way too much time doodling different heads just to make mid lol

BIO:

Found in remote alpine areas across central asia and western europe, Dunvator are reclusive kaiju who spend most of their days bashing their heads against the side of mountains. It's unknown specifically what they're mining for, as they've been observed eating other smaller kaiju or consuming entire trees, though the current hypothesis is that they're looking for dormant kaiju that hide or nest within the sides of mountains.

Due to the large amount of iron on the outsides of their bodies, the spines down their backs, hooves, head, teeth, and a keel-like structure on their chests, it's assumed this prey must be high in metals themselves, or somehow makes this metal more bio-available to the Dunvator. Current assumptions are a sub-species of Chilappra, though this cannot be confirmed with any certainty.
