There is just something so viscerally sad about taking a night walk past the fenced off area that used to be empty field. There is some sort of deep internal sadness that lies in never being able to see the sad unattended basket ball court with cracked pavement and the almost forgotten play equipment abandoned.

What I cruel world. I can only hope and pray that they’ve left the rest of the wooded area that I’ve fallen for alone. Hope is ok that I have.
