au canon divergence where the nebula/hegemonia duo ally instead of fight, because i see absolutely NO nebula & hegemonia tags on ao3 (except for one of mine and its not even the main focus :sob:) which is absolutely CRIMINAL because they are my literal favorite duo and im starving for good fics about them (especially if you read the novel)

speaking of spoilers... another thing is that this fic isn't going to be manhwa-only friendly. there is additional information ive written that iirc haven't been stated in the manhwa at all.

personally i wouldn't say that they're spoilers, because on technicality the timeline of when the info was revealed was already covered in the manhwa---but on the other hand, im the type of person who doesn't care about getting spoiled at all, so im more desensitized to this sort of thing and im pretty sure some people are super careful with spoilers so uhh yup

The novel mentions 27 players are transported to Avartin, but like out of those 27 only 24 or so are ever mentioned like either it's unfinished or genuinely three of the players are just never mentioned at all like POOF they're gone, uh oh!!! Up to reader interpretation!! And lowkey it is kinda funny If i'm wrong and they are actually mentioned then uhh whoops!!

BUT what i also find funny is that one of them (Tael) genuinely has one dialogue line TOTAL. IN THE LAST CHAPTER BEFORE THE EPILOGUE?? And it's literally just three words like how am i supposed to you know write this guy in fanfiction? hello? lmaoo Tael's dialogue can be found in chapter 316: Judgement (and apparently, he is one of three people (those being wisdom and nebula) that can hack the Sanctuary. like woah??? where did this come from?? can be found in chapter 329)

Don't think that's that, there's MORE!! I only just recently found this despite finishing the novel a month ago---there's a player named Vacatio and this guy is mentioned FIVE TIMES!! IN THE SIDE STORIES!! and literally all of them are about them being annihilated by Hegemonia like poor guy lmao Vacatio can be found in chapter 323

My chatfic is gonna have more obstacles than expected TT at this rate i genuinely am gonna have to go off pure speculation and headcanons

I get it though---this is a worldbuilding novel so obviously finer details aren't gonna be fleshed out or anything *ahem* demon world *ahem* and honestly it just makes the fanfiction easier to write without having to comb through the novel for like half an hour while trying not to go against canon... TT
