I hated that they wrote a rape into her storyline in the first place because it provided nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing at all, just another in a long history of writer's rooms looking for conflict in a female character and arriving at rape when the character had plenty of fascinating fucking conflict to begin with

I hated that rather than letting it wash away in the show's history as a bad decision they hammered it home with a monologue to paint a clearer picture for the audience of how it lasted for several days, actually

aaaand I hate that we apparently have to have more of this discussion while Louis (presumably) reads her diary entries about it aloud to her rapist before killing him

I'm not up for it, I don't want to have to sit through it, it's just. It's cheap. It's cheap cheap cheap writing and I hate it. I expect better from Rolin & Co and there's nothing I can do but grit my teeth and muddle through the foaming at the mouth this fandom is going to do about how satisfying it is because it isn't, they're just bloodthirsty reactionaries who turn their brains all the way off when it comes to sexual violence.
