Love Will Find A Way! (my final homage to you)
“Love Will Find A Way!” is a phrase I’ve been repeating to myself for the past two years, because it’s the truth. This project focuses on my own experiences with love, primarily romantic, and the feelings associated with it that I face as a queer and trans individual. The love I face a queer person has genuinely saved my life and helped me feel comfortable in myself and expressing the love I have for others. Being t4t has opened my eyes to parts of myself I thought I would never be able to heal and made me see that love will find you where you least expect it.
This series has helped me process my feelings more than I ever anticipated it would’ve. This project is a piece of my soul I want to bear with the world. We never realize how much love truly affects us until we no longer have it and can only carry that feeling and those memories forward with ourselves. I know certain love isn’t meant to last forever, but it’s nice to look on back on it sometimes and sit with how it made you feel. Seeing how much has come from a love you once shared with someone is one of the most cherished feelings in the world and realizing how much I’ve changed from that love is such a beautiful thing. I see the world in a different, more joyful light and feel as if i’ve finally found a peace in myself I was scared I would never find. No love ever shared is love lost.
Love is the most powerful form of expression and the ripples it creates in your life truly last a lifetime and even some after that.
