I've been getting a hand at playing touys so far, more so after I properly installed pcsx2 🤫 I had a ROM for Ratchet and Clank already (before roms megathread got shut down 💔) but I'm also looking forward to playing the Gregory Horror Show... I've only seen Joel's playthrough of the game but I wanted to try it out by myself before finishing watching it. On RaC though, so far it has been fun! BUT the control physics are giving me a headache 😭 I probs need to tweak them on the emulator's settings, but it could also be my logitech knockoff as well. besides that I haven't found issues with the emulator and I'm v much looking forward to playing more playstation games 🙏

I'm curious, what media or gijinka works inspired your series, and what inspired you to create it in the first place?
answering the last bit will be hard because when I first did this back then, it really was just. a thing that came to me one day. if you really want to go in deep, it really was just an idea I came on my own while in history class.
afterwards, I started getting into polandball around when I first drew them, so it did have some influence back then, but not anymore.
nowadays when looking into other personification stuff, I focus to learn from the persons country or region of origin, since they will be the ones to know it best.
as for other inspirations... its hard to pinpoint it currently. its mostly just my style which is inspired by a lot of things ^.^" and I don't keep track of it all.
I think I've started to change my mind abt international anthology being a cartoon recently bcs it did dawn me how convoluted things would be for someone my age w 0 experience in the animation industry considering how complex the story would be done in that format. tbh just doing smaller things like comics or shorts and having a site or a document w everything seems much more feasible and something that'll have more fun with in the moment, so I think thats where things would be going now.
stating this bcs I don't want people do feel "scammed"? (for lack of a better term) having said that I wanted to make a cartoon of it so many times in the past. but the reality is even if I was serious and jumped right into it back then I don't think it would've come out like I wanted to, and it would've been v sad to see as it is something I care a lot about. I'd rather take my time and have something I'm truly satisfied with and that I had fun with rather than commiting the same mistakes I had w other projects to one I am truly passionate abt.

the ppl doing wr fanart of kris and noelle being hospitalized after the events of ch5 is fine and all but I disagree on this take. my vision of it is that the "other side" is actually the depths (source of fountains) which are a dark world. to hometown they p much disappeared without a trace and susie is probably the first person who notices or picks up on where they went, could explain why onionsan is seemingly gone after telling kris they'll investigate the "music deep in the lake" (besides the whole hometown butcher thing), I feel that leaves a bigger impact.
Sorry to be a "let people enjoy things" guy but is this not a bizarrely corny way to talk about art?
like yeah i have encountered people online who think their ocs who exist in a contextless bubble deserve the same reverence as fully realized characters, and that mentality is annoying, but i don't actually think the end goal of all art is to became a webcomic, i think it's a perfectly fine if people want to flex their creative muscle by creating funky character designs with wacky backstories just for the joy of creation itself, like you don't have to be personally invested in it, but it's a bizarre way to moralize art especially coming from a group of people who otherwise seem to be against that?
The sign many left wingers have subconsciously accepted moving right on covid and embraced lowering public health standards is when people seem to think “masks should be mandatory in healthcare settings /airplanes “ is somehow a radical position to take in an ongoing pandemic
its so fucking weird because "masks in healthcare" should be the default all of the time. Doctors and nurses are literally employed to go from sick person to sick person, treating immunocompromised people especially often.
It should have been mandatory BEFORE covid
Happy pride to these icons
