I've been brewing on this for a few days... when I first heard the news about Mark I wasn't too upset at first. But each passing day has caused this pit in my stomach to grow. It's like it's finally setting in.

It's like watching your older brother leaving for college and you're not sure when you'll be able to see him next or how he'll turn out, but you're still hoping for the best for him because he's finally putting himself and his own dreams first.

And I get that it sounds super parasocial, and it is, I've been into Nct since 2017 and I've been so attached to Nct Dream since. Viewing them like older brothers i never had, I think it has to do with the fact that we all watched them grow up, and it felt like I was growing up alongside them.

thinking of that post on twitter abt how nomin's dynamics are so healthy that it's op's issue with the ship . i know op meant it in a joking manner (it unfortunately was perceived as ship slander, but i personally found it funny) but it's really helped me shift my perspective on the ship i was crazy about when i was 17-19... and the ship i'm crazy about again at 25.
