What are your favorite video essays about danganronpa?

I was overthinking this so much I went to watch some Danganronpa video essays to jog my memory back when I used to frequent them 🤠✨

But basically I’ve seen a ton of Weeby Newz character analysis videos and I do like me the videos around the theories regarding the lies and truths of Danganronpa’s reality as a whole.

Looking at the stuff that pops up now… I think I’m overdue a little deep dive and a replay of v3, honestly lol

I am honestly not very driven to update it at the moment, I’ve got a bit of writers block on it. Note revisions are happening in the bg, but the actual writing is on the wayside for now.

That’s the most I’ll say about that on this blog though, bc I’ve been asked a lot about updates for it to the point I feel a bit burdened by that fic. 🙏🫠

I’m NOT abandoning IDE though. There are no plans to discontinue it, now or in the future. It is on a hiatus until I can get things sorted out.

Would you ever write an ATLA fic?

I actually started 2 a couple of years ago!

One that never got up off the ground with a protag that arrived from the faaaar future and is taken in by the gaang (this one got scrapped pretty quickly)

and a different one about an amateur earth bender that suddenly finds herself “air bending” (it starts maybe a week before Ang wakes up, and follows two original characters as their actions intersect with each others groups despite barely ever crossing each other’s path). It lasted 3 chapters before I hit a wall 🥲

If I was gonna pick one of the two back up, it’d probably be the second one since the main protags are already pretty fleshed out in my notes

This is the fanart I promised @neostarreset, It's entirely based on the last chapter, at least my interpretation of what I imagined. The dynamic between Kokichi and Prairie has become one of my favorite things about the fanfic, because of how well-written it is. I wish i know what goes through Kokichi's head, But I really like how it's going.

And this quick sketch of how I interpret Prairie if she stepped out of the killing game, just my concept.

I like how the shadow and text over her face completely plays into how Prairie is willing to take affection from any source she won’t be blindsided from- regardless of who offers it to her.
