Remodeling (?)

So, I’m thinking of turning the story of Aryo, Jason, and Zachary into a novel. I may remodel this blog to be for writing excerpts, ideas, and basically journaling/outlining for the book. So yeah. I’m probably not gonna rp with them anymore. It was fun for a while but I’ve kinda lost interest. So if you wanna unfollow, that’s okay. Aryo pulled out the cans of cat food he had in his bag. He called the cats out, looking around again to make sure no one was around. He'd just gotten the first one open when he thought he heard the flapping of wings. He made a hissing noise and the cats hid. He felt nephilim nearby, and he drew his knife, ready for anything. Suddenly, there were four of them on him. He fought his best, but he soon found himself pinned, and Godric was on top of him. "You're not getting away this time, pet!" -aryo

Since Aryo had shown the alley to him, Jack had been to visit the cats almost everyday when he was feeling down or stressed. However, this visit had the opposite effect of destressing the half-drow.As he turned down into the alley, Jack stopped at the sight of several people on and around Aryo.Jack growled softly as he pulled his daggers out and crept along the wall, waiting for the right moment to strike the nephilim

Aryo grimaced and brought his wings in closer. ‘This is why I don’t go out without a hoodie…’ he thought to himself. “You’re one to talk with those ears of yours.” He sneered. “I’ll have the quarter pounder combo with no pickles.” He ordered. “Aren’t you supposed to be nice to customers?” He asked.

Ridet punched in the order, cussing under his breath at how complicated those goddamn machines were, “Nice, shmice. They’re just paying me to grab orders. As long as they’re making money, they don’t care.” Ridet smiled an obviously fake, cheery smile, “And to drink? We don’t have any blood or anything in today, so you’ll have to pick a soda or some lemonade.”

Aryo thanked him and took his drink. He started to walk away to find a table, when he had a thought. On impulse, he turned back towards Ridet. “Um.. wh-when do you get off? Would you.. would you wanna hang out or something?” He asked.

“Um, sure?” Ridet said, startled at the inquiry. “I get off in 20, if you just want to wait after you eat,” he finished punching in the the order. “Lunch is on me, dude. Your order should be ready in a few minutes.”

“As am I. Now, about you; you need some sleep. I’ll show you to some of the guest rooms.” Esme said as she began walking out of the room to find a free guest room

Aryo just nodded, knowing she was right, and followed her. They found a free guest room, and Aryo went in and laid down, falling asleep almost instantly.

Esme went back to stay with Jack and keep an eye on him through the night, even though she fell asleep in the chair. However, when she woke up and looked to the table, Jack was gone, “Jack? Jack!” she called as she stiffly stood up to go search for him. Thankfully, it didn’t take long to find him, although seeing him lying down the side of Aryo’s bed surrounded by chicken bones was the last place she had expected to find him

Aryo woke the next morning to find Jack next to him. He sat up slowly so as not to disturb him. Aryo looked down at Jack, his heart doing flips in his chest. “Gods I hope you’re okay…” he whispered softly, resting his hand on Jack’s cheek.

“Well, Aryo, if he’s managed to get from there to here and get food as well, I’m sure he’s alright. Although, this wasnt where I was expecting to see him.” Esme smiled softly, “See, he obviously cares about you if this is the first place he came.”

Aryo jumped slightly. He hadn’t noticed Esme there. “I know, I just.. I just want him to wake up… I miss him I guess.”

Aryo kept looking at Jack for a while. Finally, with a deep breath, he shook Jack’s shoulder gently. “Jack?” He called softly.

"I guess you got up last night. I was asleep though, so I wouldn't know..." Aryo said. "Would.. would you like to get up on the bed with me? It's more comfortable." He asked nervously.

Aryo ran down the street and ducked inside the nearest open building he could find. He watched as the other nephilim flew past, and took a deep, shaky breath. He looked around and realized he was in a bar, wings out and all. "S-sorry." He said breathlessly to the bartender, and the people giving him stares. "Not here to cause trouble, I swear." He said, folding his wings against his back in an attempt to hide them -aryosuggestion

“Hey! Get back to your drinks, leave the kid alone, I full well know who all isn’t human here and I know you all dont have any reason to be staring” the bartender says the tip of its tail hitting the ground with a light thump as its irritation began to settle. Five looked back to the younger looking boy, walking out from behind the bar and to said boy, tail swaying on the floor behind him. It wiped its hands on the towel it was holding before slinging it over its shoulder “hey, are you okay? You look like your in trouble?? @aryosuggestion

Five nodded quickly, tensing less now as the pressure was removed off its back, focusing on Aryo’s hands and touch with shaky breaths, this was much better. It took a few minuted to calm down, for the images to stop flashing behind its eyes and for the screaming in its ears to stop, but it felt like hours “I-I’m sorry” it said, voice barely a whisper “I didn’t want y-you to see me like this, not yet” it said, tail unwinding from around it’s ankle, now not tucked between its legs but curled around it’s feet in a shy and manner, unable to look to Aryo, ashamed at its sudden breakdown

Aryo shook his head softly. “You said it yourself. Being in a relationship means we have each other. Meaning I’m here for you, no matter what state you’re in. You’ve already seen me scared about sex, I’m not going to be weirded out by what you’ve been through. Can you tell me what caused this? So I know what to avoid?” Aryo asked.

I can’t go to hospitals or be bound either, and most definetly not if I’m blinded" it continued quietly with a shaky breath “w-when I have a panic attack… my back, I cant have anyone touch it….” it paused a long while “… I think you’ve seen the scars”

Five nodded a bit, dropping its head in its hands, still feeling guilty “god, it’s been so long and I’m still terrified” it whispered, it has been over 60 years since it had been in that god forsaken place but it still felt like a fresh tender wound “usually my back is fine, I like my back being touched but when-when I think about or remember stuff like I did, its almost like getting whipped again, it makes my back sting and burn, and feels too real and everything gets lost and I don’t know where I am or who I’m with and I can’t do anything” it gave a frustrated groan, ruffling its hair quickly

Aryo blushed, and a small giggle escaped his mouth. He heard snickers from the bedroom and looked over to see Jason and Zach disappearing back into the room. “You two, you were spying!” He shouted, but his voice held a smile.

“We were noooooot. We were just… making sure your booooyfriend was okay!” Zach said with a giggle as he reappeared around the corner.

Aryo’s feathers on his wings fluffed up as he blushed deeper. “Go to bed you two, it’s late!”

Jason and Zach complied, and he turned back to Five. “Prepare to never really have a moment alone. These two want to know everything about everything.” He said fondly.

Five looked back to the younger looking boy, walking out from behind the bar and to said boy, tail swaying on the floor behind him. Aryo pulled out the cans of cat food he had in his bag. He called the cats out, looking around again to make sure no one was around. He'd just gotten the first one open when he thought he heard the flapping of wings. He made a hissing noise and the cats hid. He felt nephilim nearby, and he drew his knife, ready for anything. Suddenly, there were four of them on him. He fought his best, but he soon found himself pinned, and Godric was on top of him. "You're not getting away this time, pet!" -aryo

Since Aryo had shown the alley to him, Jack had been to visit the cats almost everyday when he was feeling down or stressed. Esme went back to stay with Jack and keep an eye on him through the night, even though she fell asleep in the chair. However, when she woke up and looked to the table, Jack was gone, “Jack? Jack!” she called as she stiffly stood up to go search for him. Thankfully, it didn’t take long to find him, although seeing him lying down the side of Aryo’s bed surrounded by chicken bones was the last place she had expected to find him

Aryo laughed. “That’s great boys.” He said, then turned to Five. “They’ve never seen fireworks before.”

As the boys burst in Five stiffened visibly, eyes going wide as its breath caught in it’s throat and its tail came between its legs and curled tightly around it’s ankle ‘No. No. You aren’t fucking there. Sometimes it was other methods and punishment, but its back was still sensitive when it got like this
