Remodeling (?)
So, I’m thinking of turning the story of Aryo, Jason, and Zachary into a novel. I may remodel this blog to be for writing excerpts, ideas, and basically journaling/outlining for the book. So yeah. I’m probably not gonna rp with them anymore. It was fun for a while but I’ve kinda lost interest. So if you wanna unfollow, that’s okay. But if you wanna keep following and join me on this adventure, I’d love that!

Aryo pulled out the cans of cat food he had in his bag. He called the cats out, looking around again to make sure no one was around. He'd just gotten the first one open when he thought he heard the flapping of wings. He made a hissing noise and the cats hid. He felt nephilim nearby, and he drew his knife, ready for anything. Suddenly, there were four of them on him. He fought his best, but he soon found himself pinned, and Godric was on top of him. "You're not getting away this time, pet!" -aryo

Since Aryo had shown the alley to him, Jack had been to visit the cats almost everyday when he was feeling down or stressed. However, this visit had the opposite effect of destressing the half-drow.As he turned down into the alley, Jack stopped at the sight of several people on and around Aryo.Jack growled softly as he pulled his daggers out and crept along the wall, waiting for the right moment to strike the nephilim
“I don’t know if I can move, to be honest.” Jack groaned as he tried to sit up again, his muscles screaming in protest. “I’m just really stiff.”
Aryo nodded. “Okay, that’s fair.” He said. He though for a minute before coming down and moving a few chicken bones to make room for himself beside Jack. “I’ll just come down here then.” He said, smiling over at Jack. “If that’s okay.”
Jack smiled a little and leant against Aryo contently, “Yeah, thanks. I mean, getting up to leave is gonna be another thing, but down here is alright for a few minutes.” he said
"Will you be okay to leave? I don't want you hurting yourself any more." Aryo said worriedly.

Aryo grimaced and brought his wings in closer. ‘This is why I don’t go out without a hoodie…’ he thought to himself. “You’re one to talk with those ears of yours.” He sneered. “I’ll have the quarter pounder combo with no pickles.” He ordered. “Aren’t you supposed to be nice to customers?” He asked.

Ridet punched in the order, cussing under his breath at how complicated those goddamn machines were, “Nice, shmice. They’re just paying me to grab orders. As long as they’re making money, they don’t care.” Ridet smiled an obviously fake, cheery smile, “And to drink? We don’t have any blood or anything in today, so you’ll have to pick a soda or some lemonade.”
“I’ll drink your blood if you keep up that fucking attitude.” Aryo snapped. “Gimme a coke.” Aryo ordered, bringing in his wings closer as he noticed people staring. “What’s your problem anyway, goat boy?! Got a problem with nephilim?”
Ridet nodded, “yes, a coke, exactly what i expected. And nephilim? Why would /I/ have an issue with neohilim? I’m just teasing you, Wings,” He chuckled. “Will that be all
Aryo blushed in embarrassment. “Oh.” He said quietly. “Uh, yeah. That’s all. Sorry, I.. don’t really know when people are joking.” He mumbled.
Ridet gave a half smile, “No worries, Wings. I know what it’s like to be treated as less than human.” He quickly shifted his hair to expose an ear and one of his horns. “If you ever need anything, I got you, eh?” He grabbed Aryo’s coke and wrote his number on it. “Is weirdo’s got to stick together.”
Aryo thanked him and took his drink. He started to walk away to find a table, when he had a thought. On impulse, he turned back towards Ridet. “Um.. wh-when do you get off? Would you.. would you wanna hang out or something?” He asked.
“Um, sure?” Ridet said, startled at the inquiry. “I get off in 20, if you just want to wait after you eat,” he finished punching in the the order. “Lunch is on me, dude. Your order should be ready in a few minutes.”
"Oh.. thanks." Aryo said gratefully. He got his food once it was ready, and sat down to eat and wait.

“As am I. Now, about you; you need some sleep. I’ll show you to some of the guest rooms.” Esme said as she began walking out of the room to find a free guest room
Aryo just nodded, knowing she was right, and followed her. They found a free guest room, and Aryo went in and laid down, falling asleep almost instantly.
Esme went back to stay with Jack and keep an eye on him through the night, even though she fell asleep in the chair. However, when she woke up and looked to the table, Jack was gone, “Jack? Jack!” she called as she stiffly stood up to go search for him. Thankfully, it didn’t take long to find him, although seeing him lying down the side of Aryo’s bed surrounded by chicken bones was the last place she had expected to find him
Aryo woke the next morning to find Jack next to him. He sat up slowly so as not to disturb him. Aryo looked down at Jack, his heart doing flips in his chest. “Gods I hope you’re okay…” he whispered softly, resting his hand on Jack’s cheek.
“Well, Aryo, if he’s managed to get from there to here and get food as well, I’m sure he’s alright. Although, this wasnt where I was expecting to see him.” Esme smiled softly, “See, he obviously cares about you if this is the first place he came.”
Aryo jumped slightly. He hadn’t noticed Esme there. “I know, I just.. I just want him to wake up… I miss him I guess.”
“He’s just sleeping down there. I’m sure you can poke him to wake him up.” Esme laughed softly, “He’s not a very deep sleeper either.”
Aryo looked down, then back up. “Will he be okay if I wake him? I don’t wanna wake him of he still needs to sleep.” Aryo said nervously.
“Well, you can wake him when you think is right. I’ll go get some breakfast.” Esme replied and headed out of the room
Aryo kept looking at Jack for a while. Finally, with a deep breath, he shook Jack’s shoulder gently. “Jack?” He called softly.
Jack groaned softly and curled in on himself a little before rubbing his eyes, “Uhh?” he mumbled, eyes opening slightly
“Hey… how’re you feeling?” Aryo asked. “You were out for a few days.”
“Was I? Why am I on the floor?” Jack mumbled, his body too stiff to try sit up
"I guess you got up last night. I was asleep though, so I wouldn't know..." Aryo said. "Would.. would you like to get up on the bed with me? It's more comfortable." He asked nervously.
Aryo ran down the street and ducked inside the nearest open building he could find. He watched as the other nephilim flew past, and took a deep, shaky breath. He looked around and realized he was in a bar, wings out and all. "S-sorry." He said breathlessly to the bartender, and the people giving him stares. "Not here to cause trouble, I swear." He said, folding his wings against his back in an attempt to hide them -aryosuggestion
“Hey! Get back to your drinks, leave the kid alone, I full well know who all isn’t human here and I know you all dont have any reason to be staring” the bartender says the tip of its tail hitting the ground with a light thump as its irritation began to settle. Five looked back to the younger looking boy, walking out from behind the bar and to said boy, tail swaying on the floor behind him. It wiped its hands on the towel it was holding before slinging it over its shoulder “hey, are you okay? You look like your in trouble?? @aryosuggestion
Five nodded quickly, tensing less now as the pressure was removed off its back, focusing on Aryo’s hands and touch with shaky breaths, this was much better. It took a few minuted to calm down, for the images to stop flashing behind its eyes and for the screaming in its ears to stop, but it felt like hours “I-I’m sorry” it said, voice barely a whisper “I didn’t want y-you to see me like this, not yet” it said, tail unwinding from around it’s ankle, now not tucked between its legs but curled around it’s feet in a shy and manner, unable to look to Aryo, ashamed at its sudden breakdown
Aryo shook his head softly. “You said it yourself. Being in a relationship means we have each other. Meaning I’m here for you, no matter what state you’re in. You’ve already seen me scared about sex, I’m not going to be weirded out by what you’ve been through. Can you tell me what caused this? So I know what to avoid?” Aryo asked.
Five nodded a bit, feeling slightly better at Aryos words, glancing up to him for a moment before looking back to their hands “tell you what caused this as in why I’m so fucked up or what caused this specific breakdown?” It asked softly before deciding itself
‘its usually loud sudden noises, like the door opening too quickly and sudden talking, fierworks, thunder, t-there’s a lot that I can mistake it for. I can’t go to hospitals or be bound either, and most definetly not if I’m blinded" it continued quietly with a shaky breath “w-when I have a panic attack… my back, I cant have anyone touch it….” it paused a long while “… I think you’ve seen the scars”
Aryo nodded. “I’ll make sure the boys know to open and close the door quietly. And yeah, I have. I can.. I can understand about being bound, or the back touching. Usually people tend to touch my wings instead so I don’t have to say anything.”
Five nodded a bit, dropping its head in its hands, still feeling guilty “god, it’s been so long and I’m still terrified” it whispered, it has been over 60 years since it had been in that god forsaken place but it still felt like a fresh tender wound “usually my back is fine, I like my back being touched but when-when I think about or remember stuff like I did, its almost like getting whipped again, it makes my back sting and burn, and feels too real and everything gets lost and I don’t know where I am or who I’m with and I can’t do anything” it gave a frustrated groan, ruffling its hair quickly
Aryo felt his own back prickle with memories he wished he could forget. “I.. I know how you feel. Do.. do you wanna stay over again? The boys kinda have claim over the bed, but this happens to be a pullout couch, so we’d still have a bed.” Aryo offered.
Five gave a small nod, looking up at Aryo, it was actually very glad that it was being asked to stay over, it didn’t want to be alone right now, not while everything’s still fresh “I’d love to stay over, I’d prefer not being alone right now” it said softly, bringing one of Aryos hands it was holding up to its mouth, pressing a soft kiss to his knuckles
Aryo blushed, and a small giggle escaped his mouth. He heard snickers from the bedroom and looked over to see Jason and Zach disappearing back into the room. “You two, you were spying!” He shouted, but his voice held a smile.
“We were noooooot. We were just… making sure your booooyfriend was okay!” Zach said with a giggle as he reappeared around the corner.
Aryo’s feathers on his wings fluffed up as he blushed deeper. “Go to bed you two, it’s late!”
Jason and Zach complied, and he turned back to Five. “Prepare to never really have a moment alone. These two want to know everything about everything.” He said fondly.
As it heard the snickers coming from the other room it gave a few small chuckles itself, watching how flustered Aryo got with a mischevious grin dancing on its lips before looking over its shoulder at the two boys with a playful glare “you little sneaks!” It cried dramatically before turning back to Aryo, draping its arms around his neck resting its forehead on his
“Aww my little angels all flustered~” it said playfully bringing one hand down to stroke his fluffy wings “Its okay, I don’t mind, they’re sweet kids, curious cats” it hummed pressing a small kiss to Aryo’s lips, the hand that wasn’t stoking his wing. cupping his jaw “you’re blush is pretty cute”
Aryo shivered at the soft hand on his wings, and kissed back when Five kissed him. “Shut up, I hate when I blush and my wings do that.” He mumbled bashfully.
“Oh~? I quite like it” it purred, “makes you look absolutely adorable, soft and squishy” it teased lightly before pulling him into another kiss before he could protest, this one a little longer, deeper, Five quiet enjoyed Aryos kisses, they were soft and sweet
Aryo was going to say something, but all thoughts went out the window when Five kissed him again. He kissed back, liking the feeling of Five’s lips on his. He smiled once he pulled back. “We should get to bed.”
After they pulled apart, it smiled back softly, stoking Aryos hair for a moment “yeah… we should” it said gently “I’ll help you get the bed out” it said with a small chuckle, placing one final kiss in his forhead

Aryo shivered at the soft hand on his wings, and kissed back when Five kissed him. "Shut up, I hate when I blush and my wings do that." He mumbled bashfully.
Aryo ran down the street and ducked inside the nearest open building he could find. He watched as the other nephilim flew past, and took a deep, shaky breath. Get back to your drinks, leave the kid alone, I full well know who all isn’t human here and I know you all dont have any reason to be staring” the bartender says the tip of its tail hitting the ground with a light thump as its irritation began to settle. Five looked back to the younger looking boy, walking out from behind the bar and to said boy, tail swaying on the floor behind him. It wiped its hands on the towel it was holding before slinging it over its shoulder “hey, are you okay? You look like your in trouble?? @aryosuggestion
Five nodded quickly, tensing less now as the pressure was removed off its back, focusing on Aryo’s hands and touch with shaky breaths, this was much better. It took a few minuted to calm down, for the images to stop flashing behind its eyes and for the screaming in its ears to stop, but it felt like hours “I-I’m sorry” it said, voice barely a whisper “I didn’t want y-you to see me like this, not yet” it said, tail unwinding from around it’s ankle, now not tucked between its legs but curled around it’s feet in a shy and manner, unable to look to Aryo, ashamed at its sudden breakdown

Five nodded a bit, dropping its head in its hands, still feeling guilty “god, it’s been so long and I’m still terrified” it whispered, it has been over 60 years since it had been in that god forsaken place but it still felt like a fresh tender wound “usually my back is fine, I like my back being touched but when-when I think about or remember stuff like I did, its almost like getting whipped again, it makes my back sting and burn, and feels too real and everything gets lost and I don’t know where I am or who I’m with and I can’t do anything” it gave a frustrated groan, ruffling its hair quickly

Five gave a small nod, looking up at Aryo, it was actually very glad that it was being asked to stay over, it didn’t want to be alone right now, not while everything’s still fresh “I’d love to stay over, I’d prefer not being alone right now” it said softly, bringing one of Aryos hands it was holding up to its mouth, pressing a soft kiss to his knuckles

Aryo pulled out the cans of cat food he had in his bag. He called the cats out, looking around again to make sure no one was around. He'd just gotten the first one open when he thought he heard the flapping of wings. He made a hissing noise and the cats hid. He felt nephilim nearby, and he drew his knife, ready for anything. Suddenly, there were four of them on him. He fought his best, but he soon found himself pinned, and Godric was on top of him. "You're not getting away this time, pet!" -aryo

Since Aryo had shown the alley to him, Jack had been to visit the cats almost everyday when he was feeling down or stressed. However, this visit had the opposite effect of destressing the half-drow.As he turned down into the alley, Jack stopped at the sight of several people on and around Aryo.Jack growled softly as he pulled his daggers out and crept along the wall, waiting for the right moment to strike the nephilim
“As am I. Now, about you; you need some sleep. I’ll show you to some of the guest rooms.” Esme said as she began walking out of the room to find a free guest room
Aryo just nodded, knowing she was right, and followed her. They found a free guest room, and Aryo went in and laid down, falling asleep almost instantly.
Esme went back to stay with Jack and keep an eye on him through the night, even though she fell asleep in the chair. However, when she woke up and looked to the table, Jack was gone, “Jack? Jack!” she called as she stiffly stood up to go search for him. Thankfully, it didn’t take long to find him, although seeing him lying down the side of Aryo’s bed surrounded by chicken bones was the last place she had expected to find him
Aryo woke the next morning to find Jack next to him. He sat up slowly so as not to disturb him. Aryo looked down at Jack, his heart doing flips in his chest. “Gods I hope you’re okay…” he whispered softly, resting his hand on Jack’s cheek.
“Well, Aryo, if he’s managed to get from there to here and get food as well, I’m sure he’s alright. Although, this wasnt where I was expecting to see him.” Esme smiled softly, “See, he obviously cares about you if this is the first place he came.”
Aryo jumped slightly. He hadn’t noticed Esme there. “I know, I just.. I just want him to wake up… I miss him I guess.”
“He’s just sleeping down there. I’m sure you can poke him to wake him up.” Esme laughed softly, “He’s not a very deep sleeper either.”
Aryo looked down, then back up. “Will he be okay if I wake him? I don’t wanna wake him of he still needs to sleep.” Aryo said nervously.
“Well, you can wake him when you think is right. I’ll go get some breakfast.” Esme replied and headed out of the room

The warlock chuckled a bit and nodded “yeah… it is” it said softly, noticing Aryo biting his lip, causing a bolt of curiousity to run through it “what’re you thinking about love?” It asked softly somewhat of a curious mischeviousness dancing on its smile
Aryo took a breath. “Does.. does this mean.. th-that we have to um.. have sex?” He asked. He was afraid of the answer, afraid that this meant he had to give himself to Five. Not that he didn’t want to, but he just wasn’t ready.
Five shook it’s head, stroking Aryos hair “no, not if you don’t want to, we don’t need to have sex to be in a relationship, I don’t want sex unless you want it and you’re ready” it said softly, placing a small kiss on his forehead
Aryo breathed a sigh of relief. “Okay.” Just then, the door opened, and Jason and Zach came in.
“Aryo! Someone was shooting fireworks at a park!” Jason said excitedly.
“Yeah! There were these ones that like.. they exploded… and then they sparkled!” Zach added.
Aryo laughed. “That’s great boys.” He said, then turned to Five. “They’ve never seen fireworks before.”
As the boys burst in Five stiffened visibly, eyes going wide as its breath caught in it’s throat and its tail came between its legs and curled tightly around it’s ankle ‘No. No. You aren’t fucking there. You aren’t there. You’re here, with Aryo. No one’s trying to hurt you. You’re fine. It’s fine. Stop being so fucking stupid. Just fucking stop!’
As Zach and Jason spoke it tried to regain its composure quickly, but still found it hard to breath, let alone speak, as Aryo turned to face Five all it could do was nod, and pray that this would be over soon.
Aryo’s fond smile turned into a frown at seeing Five’s reaction. “Boys, settle down for a sec.” He called, and they did. “Five? What’s wrong?” He asked.
Five wanted to speak but its words got stuck in its throat as fear continued to clutch its chest with a tight grip, it ducked its head into its hands, closing his eyes shaking its head a bit taking shaky breaths as it leaned into Aryo slightly, trying to convince itself, ground itself back to reality this is Aryo. This is Aryo. You’re safe, you’ve been free for so long, they haven’t found you, you’re fine, they can’t find you
Aryo hesitantly started stroking Five’s back. “Whatever it is, I’m here. You’re safe. I’m here. Everything’s okay Five.”
As Aryo spoke, Jason whispered something to Zach, and they went into the bedroom, leaving Aryo and Five alone.
Five tensed and arched it back away from Aryos touch “n-no, please” it said softly “a-anywhere but there, please” it begged softly, tears wetting its palms as more memories flooded its thoughts, god the screaming it remembered the screaming, it always left its voice raw just as much as its back was by the time they’d finished with it. Sometimes it was other methods and punishment, but its back was still sensitive when it got like this
"Okay. Okay, sorry." Aryo was practically whispering. He took Five's hands instead, rubbing his thumbs along them. "Is this better?" He asked.
