Sunlight lingered still, clinging to the sky, begging for more time– much like the Angelic men in the cemetery were doing when the silvery glint of Dean’s pistol caught Cas’ eye…

At first, Castiel had thought it was an Angel blade, but only for an inhumanly fleet sense of time; and his heart sank when he saw the truth.

“Jack, go. Run… ”

Dean had every right to be angry, and maybe he was right. Maybe it would be better for everyone if Jack was dead - but for some reason Castiel still had faith in the nephilim. Castiel, who had gone as far as to sacrifice himself to The Empty for Jack, and now even after everything Jack had done, Cas was still trying to protect him. Surely, that had to mean something.

“No,” Jack responded, moving between his two fathers. His eyes glowed as he held up his hand, sending out a wave of energy that knocked Dean off his feet. He was careful this time, careful to make sure his power wouldn’t do any serious harm. 

“Not without you, Cas.”

“Not strong enough. What’s the point in having powers if I can’t control them and use them to protect people?”

Gabriel ignored the empty. He didn’t care what it said. The empty was wrong.  Plus Gabriel had cheated death for as long as he could remember, He rolled his eyes as they were sent back to earth. “Jeez, dad really did have a tantrum, Not sure how full on walking dead was Necessary .” his eyes glowed and he smited them.  The archangel flared his wings. “Uh yeah and brought some angels back with us. You know kinda figured it would be needed and it was a good way to annoy the empty.” he had a wicked smirk.

“Gabe...” Sam stepped closer to him, his lips twitching into an amused smile. “You’re crazy, you know that?”

“But what happened here? What’d Chuck do?” Jack questioned, glancing over at Dean and Castiel as they made their way over.

“He didn’t like that we weren’t playing along with his dumb story anymore,” Dean answered. “He released all the souls from hell and left.”

Jack’s face fell. His grandfather really was bad after all. “Oh,” he said quietly.

Gabriel was looking at him. “It is so Because you are underestimating him. The Winchesters and Cas will keep fighting and encase you haven’t realized even if they die they never stay dead.” He was looking at Jack. He then looked at the empty “Doesn’t matter what my dad wants, He can throw whatever tantrum he likes for not getting his own way. But if dad wants to act like a big baby then that’s his choice. But doesn’t mean we won’t win.” He was glaring and he grumbled, “Ugh you are so petty.” He said. “That means us and the others.”

“See, that’s the thing. The Winchesters and their friends keep cheating death, but they can’t do it forever. You can’t do it forever. This boy already lost his soul for it,” The Empty paused to stare pointedly at Jack, “sooner or later you angels will all be mine.”

The Empty snapped its fingers, and the next thing Jack knew he was back in the graveyard with Gabriel and the angels they’d woken up. He blinked in surprise, jumping when he heard a scream and turning to see that Sam was backed into a corner, a group of zombies closing in on him. 

Jack’s eyes glowed and he held up his hand, sending a wave of energy that knocked the zombies away before running to the hunter’s side. “Sam! Where’s Chuck!?”

“Jack..?” Sam stared in shock. “Chuck’s gone, how did you-..?”

“Uncle Gabe helped me,” Jack answered, smiling as he motioned to the archangel.

Gabriel was looking at him and he stood by his nephew all protective. “Oh we are, and there is nothing you can do to stop it.” The archangel was smirking “Because I am not going back to sleep, If you are so intent on keeping me here, You won’t be sleeping for the rest of eternity.”  His eyes glowed. “Plus none of us are going back to sleep, and Cassie isn’t going to die either, “ He was determined to escape. He also was determined things would be okay.  He was determined. “I am stubborn and I have no intentions of giving in, not my problem if you leave us here, Means no sleep for you.” He was smirking a bit. He wasn’t going to go to sleep. He needed to make sure that he stayed strong. The archangel woke up another angel and he smirked even more.

“Is that so?” The Empty didn’t seem bothered by the archangel’s glowing eyes. “Well, I suppose you could try to wake Castiel, but I wonder what will happen to the Winchesters when they die? It shouldn’t be long now...” 

“What’s happening to them!?” There was a hint of panic in Jack’s tone that made The Empty smirk. 

“God left a little present for them. You all may be able to keep me awake, but God doesn’t take disobedience lightly.”

“Let us go. Now.” For a split second Jack looked horrified, but that quickly changed as his eyes began to glow. It was enough to make even The Empty unsettled, and the entity cleared its throat before responding.

“Fine, go. Someday Castiel will be mine, that is all I care about.”

Hhaha yeah :D Totally , I believe Sammy would have. Lol Jack would so love it though ;D I kinda think he’d be confused about whether Team Rocket bad or not, since Jessie, James and Meowth helped sometimes XD

//Jack would be SO conflicted on Team Rocket but I think he’d end up liking them in the end (listen it’s impossible to watch the Team Rocket focus episodes and NOT like them asdfgh)

v; Everybody wants to be a master | Pokemon AU

Jack is one of the special kids gifted with powers from the Viridian Forest. From a young age he could heal Pokemon and read their thoughts and memories. An injured Bulbasaur he helped started following him around, and as soon as he was old enough to become a trainer that Bulbasaur became his partner.

Team Rocket tried to kidnap Jack to use his powers for evil, but a Mew they were also after teamed up with him and they managed to escape together. Jack left Kanto and traveled to other regions, hoping to get stronger and earn enough gym badges to enter the Pokemon League.

Gabriel was looking at him. “Point is your grandfather sucks and he’s never been good at the whole family thing,” he made a face “Can’t remember the last time he properly helped and did a good job. I mean he never really dealt with things with your father properly. Lucifer he wasn’t always the way he was. It doesn’t excuse what he did. But Father is to blame for some of it.” He was standing next to him. He saw Jack tense up and kept close like he was being protective. “Oh you know…,” Gabriel said “Escaping like I said I would.” He had a wicked smirk. “Actually we all are, or no sleep for you forever.” He woke up yet another angel. “I can be a lot more annoying than my little bro Cassie, So it’s your choice, Free us or endless torture for you.”

Maybe he shouldn’t have been so surprised to learn how awful his grandfather was, considering how bad his father was, but it still hurt. He just wanted to be good, but was it even possible when so much of his family did horrible things?

“You’re not escaping,” The Empty said, snapping Jack out of his thoughts. “The nephilim can go, I don’t want him here, but you and the other angels are staying and going back to sleep.”

“I’m not leaving without Uncle Gabe,” Jack responded, narrowing his eyes at The Empty. It paused, as if to think it over, and then gave a smirk of its own.

“Y’know, the way things are going up there I bet Castiel will be joining me very soon, so do what you want, Jack. Just be quiet about it, would you?” Turning its attention back to Gabriel, The Empty’s expression turned serious. “You, on the other hand, are staying no matter what.”
