Demographics

Social Support and Mental Health in Transgender Populations

Hi! I’m in my last semester of college before I get my associate’s degree, and for my capstone class, I’m researching the hypothesis that social support can ease some of the mental health issues that trans* and nonbinary people face. If you’re trans* or NB or you know someone who is, please take the survey or pass it along/reblog. I don’t collect any identifying information, and if anyone’s interested in the resulting paper, which may be published, feel free to message me in May.

ETA additional info: I’m also transferring to a 4 year school to get my bachelor’s in psychology, and then continue on to specialize in trans* issues (and probably also executive function disorders to have a fallback just in case). So this isn’t just a “oh hey, trans* people don’t have enough psych studies from a positive point of view”, it’s pretty relevant to my life’s work.
