Oh man June 12th can’t get here soon enough! Did a small photoshoot immediately after the new poster and S2 intro dropped yesterday! Been wanting to do a feathered arm transition pic for awhile ever since S1 ep.6 and yes those are actual feathers I stuck to my arm. Couldn't take as many pics as I wanted due to them being so fickle I’ve got more Eda/Owlbeast cosplay content in store for you all.

Time Flies By

Wow I cannot believe how long it’s been since I’ve been on here. Hey I’m not MIA or dead!

To all those still following me. Thank you, I really appreciate it. To those followers I’ve lost I am sorry for not being more up to date with my blog, but life happens.

What’s occurred in the time that I’ve been away? Well the biggest thing is I graduated college last spring and I’ve left my old retail job and started a new job in the artistic field as a layout/graphic designer (as of 6 months ago). It’s been an adjustment, but I’m loving the new course I’m currently taking.

Between the new job and other life going on’s I’ve been trying to get back into working on cosplays. I’ve got one currently in the works based off my sketches of my own version of Smaug as a human. So I’m super stoked to get that completed at some point. I’ll be sure to post pics of the process and final result once I get time to really work on it.

Alright here is one of the reasons why I haven’t been posting too much stuff. I’m getting ready for a convention that’s happening early next year and I’m currently working on a cosplay of my version of Smaug as a human based upon my sketches I did awhile back. So far I’ve gotten most of the fabrics and stuff for it. Some things are a little harder to get, but right now I’m working with what I can afford to get at the moment. I plan to post pics soon.

Here are a few pics of my rig’s I created for both Smaug’s body and head for my animation course. Both took a long time to figure out since they were custom, but I think they turned out pretty well for first time.

I had a ton of fun animating both projects. I still have some fine tuning to do, but hopefully they’ll be improved upon my first attempts. My plan is to work on these a bit more when I’ve got some free time from my hectic schedule.

Here are a few pics of the final version of Smaug I did for my animation class. I’ve got a headshot from my lip-sync assignment and a few of him in a T-pose as well as with his wings folded for use in a walk cycle I did.

I’m still getting animations together and I’ll post them once I have them completed. For now enjoy.

Alright I know I haven’t posted anything in awhile, but I’ve been super busy with my internship. Which is going great! Anyway here is a small tease of a textured Smaug! This is the most complicated model I’ve had to texture to date. I tired to get some Normal, Diffuse and Specular mapping done as well, but they haven't turned out the way I’d like them to. Oh well, for now he’s just going to have a basic texture which you kind of see here.

I’ll post more pictures later and some animations once I get them finished.
