im a big bi whitaker truther and im gonna tell you why (briefly.. im eepy and need to braindump)
in season 1, dennis flirts with a nurse named kim tate. while the flirting is mostly coming from her end, whitaker is seemingly enjoying it, and is visibly upset when he’s cockblocked by that damn rat. i remember reading something on the internet that said that gerran howell & kim’s actress (blanking on her name) made their own personal headcannon that they went on a date and kim got the ick. this proves his attraction to women, at the very least.
as for why i think he also likes men, he’s just got it like that. gerran has also said that there are aspects of whitaker’s character that he has had to learn how to encompass and interpret. to me, that implies queerness.

He follows her through time and space after knowing her for a matter of days. They have two first kisses and one of them is in a time loop. She tells him they're in a time loop and he takes her word for it and promptly dies for her. They started out as the crackiest crack ship possible and somehow have the most perfect foreshadowing way back in season one. Seriously who else is gonna do it like them ever
