WHEN: MAY 26th, 1825; FIRST DAY OF CORONAN LANTERN FESTIVAL

Nerissa was enjoying this moment, the ability to walk around as freely as she wished, collecting gossip and wondering if there were any promises to be had. She was running low on wishes granted which meant she had few payments to collect. This fresh new world of Auradon would give her plenty for that, however, in time. And as for that tricky problem of time, well, she was patient.
Today in particular she wanted nothing than to find Lord Andersen wherever he was and begin work on her plans. There was nothing particularly concrete in her mind as of yet, but she knew she would rather enjoy causing problems with him in his new marriage. She would have to find the Lady for that as well. Perhaps the best way to start would be simple friendliness.
Friendliness. Lord how she loathed such a thing. It was sickeningly false, the smile pulled tight at the corners of her lips. But the people smiled and waved back, enthralled by the festivities.
She would let these little worthless creatures enjoy their fun for now. There was no need to go about causing trouble at the moment. Though, in time she certainly would enjoy doing so. Once there were payments to be collected and she had half the court in the palm of her hand. That’s when things would truly get fun.
“Ah! Lord Andersen!” A last she spotted him. This approach, Nerissa decided, would be warm. Be gentle on the approach, get them to trust you, that was the most important thing at the moment. “I was wondering when I would have the chance to meet you properly. I am unsure if you know who I even am but I would like to formally introduce myself, as well as issue an apology on my mother’s behalf.”
