I really enjoy poster design and I had this idea for a venture bros poster so I had to do it... definitely more season 1-3 era

the idea behind this was to represent the consistent theme in the show of how parents project their insecurity on to their children and can often therefore stunt them emotionally; i tried to represent that here through Rusty as the main focus of the whole image, with the actual brothers springing from him, rather than independent. the title is doing the same, 'venture' is highlighted, while the actual denotation that it's about Hank and Dean is smaller and less visible. Hope you like it!

the most on-the-nose thing I've ever seen is like a month and a half ago patrick ball gave an interview saying if you shoot for langdon and hate santos you should look inward and sort out your biases and no one gaf but now that isa briones has said the exact same thing people are giving her flack for it. which could be for no reason at all.

Can you win against your pfp/icon in a fight (in the sense of asking which one is physically stronger)? Assume you both have the drive and the motivation to fight eachother, and both of you are unarmed (unless your pfp explicitly shows them with a weapon, or they physically cannot survive without their weapon).

I can easily win against them with no issues

the thing is like. how do I put this. a lot of people who post about Batman on here are clearly posting about an alternate universe version of Bruce Wayne and co. who live in, like, Dream Daddy or something. which is totally fine, to be clear! people can play toys however they want. but then you get people who only know Dream Daddy Batman muddling into conversations with people who are very dedicated to Comics Batman, which understandably leads to a lot of frustration on both sides and absolutely nothing interesting being accomplished.

they could totally go "oh joker is healing now, he's getting treatment in metropolis or whatever so he's not gonna show up again. yeah, gotham thinks he's dead. batman knows where he is so he's not gonna think about it ever again cause he's fine." and then he stops showing up for like 7 to 12 years before they (dc comics) relapses

would stop the joker inflation in the comic book market and force them to use another character

would be funny. to ME. 'batman are you sure this isn't the joker again?' 'i'm sure.' 'nobody found the body! who knows where he could be??" cuts to the joker in a small coffee shop in manaus going 'hm i love açaí."
