Hey Penguins 😄 my Twinbrook Sims 3 Save File which I called "Cosy Brook" will be releasing on October 3rd! I'm so excited 🎉🎉🎉 this project took my about a year to complete. You can read about the lore, check out the screenshots and download from my site NessiePenguin.com on release day 🥳

I built a ceremonial temple lot today for my Sims 3 Ponyo Town save file ☺️ I've never built anything like this before but I think it looks like a pretty place for your simmies to get married 🫶

This little neighbourhood in Ponyo Town is nearly complete 🥰 the house at the end of the street from the first screenshot will be the one your sims can live in. The others will be inhabited by NPCs 😊

Had some fun messing around with placing CC and completely cluttering up this kitchen, dining and living room 🥰

Worked on my October Valley save file yesterday, it brought me a lot of joy ☺️ I'd say it's about 35% complete so still a lot to do! I love that it looks really pretty and Autumnal in the day but kinda moody and gritty at night especially in the industrial area 😊

I'm building plenty to do, it has a college, a mall, pubs and clubs, comic store, coffee shop, bakery, radio station, football field, secret gambling warehouse, all the rabbit holes and more!

I'm giving all the townies makeovers. I've only rewritten 2 of their bios so far, I'm not sure if I'm going to change many more yet. I also added 1 new family -the Poe family -and I may add a couple more sims before release like a fortune teller and someone else.

I'm still deciding on the main new lore. The town is decorated for Halloween so I want it to have a spooky undertone. These are my plans A and B, I'd reeeeally love to know what you would go with or even if you'd go for something else entirely 😆

Plan A Lore:

Long before the town existed, the land was rumored to sit on an ancient supernatural crossing point. Strange things have always happened here — people question what is moving in the shadows and even say the town is haunted.

The town’s founders - The Goth Family- built October Valley hoping normal life would bury whatever lies beneath.

It didn’t.

Plan B Lore:

Every year the Goth family fund a Halloween festival for the town, decorating it with pumpkins everywhere. Most people just think it’s harmless festive tradition — But old town records suggest the celebration started centuries ago… and that the candles and bonfires were meant to keep something in the darkness away.

(📺) Currently Watching: Buffy the Vampire Slayer for the 4th time

(🍽️) Sweet/Savory/Sour: 100% sweet! My absolute fave is any bake containing cinnamon and sugar :)

(📚) Currently Reading: Literally just started Skyward. My fave books I've ever read are Tress of the Emerald Sea and Mistborn <3

(💖) Current Obsession: Pokopia, I didn't even mean to get addicted. I have commandeered my hoosband's switch and game, it's not even mine XD

(🔍) Last Google Search: Quentin Tarantino movie posters - I didn't buy one in the end but I may create my own :)

(📝) Currently Working On: So many things! Sims 3 Save Files, trying to get a job, getting back into exercise, interior design studies and a secret project :)

The Market Square for Scholar Valley is now finished 🙏🏼 it may actually be my favourite community lot I have ever made 😅 There is a market to buy trinkets and sell paintings, a book seller, tea cafe, restaurant, theatre, piano shop, a spa and a glass blowing studio 😄

I have created 3 new households for my Sims 3 save file Scholar Valley- the Clifton's, Hans Lecter and The Chengs. They all have very different backstories, one is wholesome, one is supernatural and one is pretty scary! There is definitely going to be a varied mix of residents living in Scholar Valley ☺️ follow me over on X too as I have been posting more about these families on there 😄

These are the new builds for my Sims 3 save file Scholar Valley! 1st pic shows a furnished starter home with an apartment building next door. 2nd screenshot is showing the house on the other side of the apartments. 3rd is an occupied house. And last we have the Writers Retreat resort 😄

Here are my latest builds for my Sims 3 Monte Vista save file "Ponyo Town" - this is my attempt to merge the styles of Sims 3 with Studio Ghibli 😊 I built a house, a 7 Eleven Convenience store, a library and another house 😄

2025 has been a challenging year, but I'm proud that I released my Sims 3 save file Cosy Brook, I loved creating it and it has brought me so much joy to see that people have been playing in it 🥰 thanks everyone for your support this year it has meant a lot to me!
