Why do people use their cellphones in the rain in movies and on TV?
Aren't they afraid their phones won't work anymore? They don't even use cases on their phones. Im so paranoid when it rains and I'm out and about.

Dark Poem, The Endless Night, by Wally Garcia
Down the rabbit hole, I go, with my sanity in tow.
When I think about it, skin crawling, Habits dying, slowly rotting.
Further and further I fall and I see, Not everything that passed by was all about me.
For when the creatures of night said hello, I didn't hold on, but instead, I let go. So further I fell, down that spiraling abyss, So far from the surface, I doubt I'd be missed.
What wonders and terrors my eyes would behold, once I've hit the rock bottom of this dark rabbit hole.
But look, I've been falling now for eight-hundred years, my skins fallen off, all my bones've disappeared!
There is no end to this delusion, this fear, of reaching the end of this monstrous frontier.
So what am I then, when I've reached my end goal? Nothing but moth-eaten rags we called souls.
Tattered, broken, and falling for ages, As little by little, out fall my pages. Until nothing is left, just a hollow hardcover. Yet still, I keep falling, nothing left to recover.
Just a ghost of an age when man first feared the darkness. So settled in shadows that fuse only with heartless.
And one by one, we'd bind with the night, one by one, we would put out the lights.

EVERY TIME SOMEONE BRINGS UP THE LIBRARY OF ALEXANDRIA I GET SO ANGRY.
Because it got burned. All of that knowledge, lost forever.
The library was destroyed over 1000’s of years ago. The library consisted of thousands of scrolls and books about mathematics, engineering, physiology, geography, blueprints, medicine, plays, & important scriptures. Thinkers from all over the Mediterranean used to come to Alexandria to study. Most of the major work of civilization up until that point was lost. If the library still survived till this day, society may have been more advanced and we would sure know more about the ancient world.
That graphic grinds my gears every time I see it

Julius Caesar to be precise

Julius Caesar needs to be stabbed for this
I know we should totally stab Caesar

Goodness, how time flies! Here's my little office plant now, compared to March 2016! Finally had to put it up in a new home as it was getting too snug in the last one. #happyplants #plantsofinstagram #plantyplant #linkiscool (at Denver, Colorado)

Amazingly surreal Las Pozas in the rainforest by Xilitla in the Mexico mountains. Created by Edward James in the 40′s, it includes more than 80 acres of natural waterfalls and pools interlaced with towering surrealist sculptures and buildings. The many trails throughout the garden site are composed of steps, ramps, bridges and narrow, winding walkways that traverse the valley walls. It was supposed to be a “Garden of Eden” containing a huge variety of plants and animals.
