I have to share this sweet story with you :) I'm in New York, and I took a dance studio for a few hours to practice with dancers for a small performance on Fire island. You can also point out that I'm frustrated that I'm not celebrating Rosh Hashanah with my family and im On a tour that only seems to get harder and lonelier. I go out for a water break ,and hear from a nearby room a powerful African choir sound I stayed for a few minutes to eavesdrop. Not long after, the actual cast of The Lion King leave the room one by one. One of them caught me staring - and like a scene out of a movie he said, “Oh my god are you Netta? I bought tickets to see you next month at Irving Plaza!” I could barely make sense when I talked to him because I was so excited that he knew who i was I told him that I have been wanting to see The Lion King forever The stars aligned and he had tickets for the show at noon just before I had to go on a plane. Cameron, thank you for seeing me at such a precise moment🤸🏻‍♂️ Reminded me how much i wait to see you all on tour ❤️ לא מתאים לי אבל בא לי לחלוק את זה איתכם :) אני נמצאת בניו יורק, ו‏לקחתי ‏סטודיו ריקוד לכמה שעות כדי להתאמן עם רקדנים לקראת הופעה קטנה במועדון בפאייר איילנד. אפשר גם לציין שאני גם בבאסה שאני לא בבית בערב חג, בטור שמתארך ונהיה קשה ובודד. אני יוצאת לשתות רגע מים, ושומעת מחדר סמוך שירת מקהלה אפריקאית עוצמתית וגדולה ונשארתי כמה דקות לצותת ומבלי לשים לב כי אם יש לי נקודה חלשה הנה היא. לא עבר זמן ומהחדר יוצאים אחד אחד הקאסט של מלך האריות בברודווי. אחד מהם קלט אותי בוהה - ובמקריות מהסרטים הוא אומר לי אומייגאד את נטע נכון ?! קניתי כרטיסים לראות אותך בחודש הבא בארווינג פלזה! בקושי הצלחתי להיות הגיונית כשדיברתי איתו כי נורא התרגשתי ממנו אמרתי לו שאני כבר המון זמן מתה לראות ליון קינג הכוכבים הסתדרו והיו לו כרטיסים להצגה בצהרים קצת לפני שהיתי צריכה לסוע לשדה. קמרון תודה על ההרמה הזו ברגע כל-כך מדוייק מקווה שהיה לכולם חג שמח :)
