Fire Force: He called sick for his job

Going around town eating and fooling around
A day with Shinra never stays quiet for long.
It usually starts with a simple plan: “Let’s just grab lunch.”
But somehow that turns into wandering half the city.
You try street food together, argue over which place has the best croquettes, and Shinra absolutely insists you try every weird snack he finds.
“C’mon! It might be amazing!”
Half the time it’s awful.
He laughs when you glare at him with betrayal, that sharp-toothed grin of his appearing again.
You end up sitting on a railing somewhere, sharing a drink and watching people pass by while Shinra swings his legs like an overgrown kid.
Honestly, it feels less like a date and more like two troublemakers escaping responsibility for the day.
Listening to his fantasy stories
Arthur takes your presence as proof you are part of his legendary kingdom.
You sit somewhere quiet while he talks endlessly about dragons, sacred swords, and the destiny of the Knight King.
“…and then the silver princess-”
You don't interrupt much.
You just let him go on and on, occasionally asking questions so he gets even more invested.
Arthur gets this intense sparkle in his eyes when someone actually listens.
At some point he drapes his coat over your shoulders like royal armor and declares you under his protection.
But also strangely sweet.
Workout partner (you are the weight)
Obi’s idea of quality time is… exercise.
You sit on his back while he does push-ups.
He laughs between reps, muscles straining while you cling to his shoulders.
Later he lifts you easily during squats like you weigh nothing.
You complain dramatically but secretly love how proud he looks after finishing his routine.
Afterwards you're both sweaty and exhausted, sharing protein shakes while Obi happily talks about building strength and protecting people.
Office work and cooking together
A day with Hinawa is calm, structured, and oddly comforting.
You sit beside him helping sort reports and paperwork for Company 8.
He works with perfect focus, occasionally adjusting his glasses.
“You misplaced that file.”
Later in the kitchen he lets you help cook dinner for everyone.
He measures everything with military precision while you try to improvise.
By the end the meal is perfectly balanced and he quietly sets the best portion in front of you.
Listening to him rant about science
You sit nearby while he excitedly explains combustion theory, infernal physiology, and experimental possibilities.
Most of it goes completely over your head.
But every time you nod or ask a question, his grin grows wider.
“You’re actually listening. Fascinating.”
Sometimes he forgets what he was saying entirely because he starts studying you instead.
Then immediately launches into another lecture.
Honestly it's entertaining watching his brain work.
Watching him work and talking about animals
Vulcan spends most of the day in the workshop.
You sit on a stool while sparks fly and machines hum.
He pauses every so often to explain what he’s building.
But the conversation always drifts toward animals.
“What animal would you invent a machine for?”
He gets surprisingly passionate about protecting wildlife.
Eventually he makes a tiny mechanical animal just to make you smile.
“Don’t tell anyone I made this for fun.”
Walking around Asakusa in traditional clothing
Days in Asakusa feel different.
You wear a beautiful kimono, decorated with jewelry that glints when the lantern light hits it.
Benimaru pretends not to notice.
But he definitely notices.
You walk through the markets, greeting locals who clearly adore him.
People whisper about how good you look together.
Which is his version of stay close to me.
You both sit indoors wearing comfortable yukata, the atmosphere calm and warm.
But the silence never feels awkward.
Konro is the type of person who doesn't need constant conversation-just being beside each other is enough.
Underground dance competition
Ogun drags you somewhere loud.
It’s an underground dance battle-crowds cheering, lights flashing.
He jumps into the circle and absolutely destroys the competition.
The crowd loses their minds.
When he wins, he grabs your hand and pulls you in for the celebration.
“You’re dancing with me now!”
Teasing him around the city
Burns tries to look serious the entire day.
You refuse to let that happen.
You tease him in public, pointing out cute shops, joking about his intimidating reputation, poking his cheek aka burying your nail in his cheek.
But the small smile that appears when he thinks you aren't looking says everything.
Sometimes you catch him gently guiding you away from crowds with a protective hand on your back.
Matching his vibe while wandering
Joker never plans anything.
Through alleys, rooftops, streets full of neon lights.
Sometimes he disappears for ten minutes and comes back like nothing happened.
“You didn’t ask where I went.”
You lean against a wall beside him while he smokes, watching the city together.
Two people who understand each other's chaos.
