“Timbers~ How good you’re here~.” Jack hummed, “How does a quick trip to Pandora sound?”

Timothy looked over at his boss and grimaced a bit. He couldn’t just sneak off to the food court for lunch could he? he was caught. “Ah... Well I was... Kinda on my way to lunch sir? So... Not great?”

“She, it is a she. Smallest one they had in R&D. They were going to space her but I figured you would like her instead. Seeing how you had a plush of one."He snickered. He smiled watching Tim with the little pup before he yawned.

The room was spacious and had the skag crate and a area for her,an expensive pillow and such.

"I figured you would need someone to play with when I got to busy so, also you have to hpuse train it. My secretary Terrie has a cleaning bot that will come to clean the balcony and such.”

He avoided the answer on guests, “You have your own bathroom and such but if you ever want to use mine it has a tub and shower where yours only has a tub.” 

“Oh.” He blushed again at the mistake, once again happy for the mask. He smiled and kissed the top of her head. “My little girl! What should i name you sweetie?” He cooed at the little pup moving to rub her belly happily. 

He listened to everything Jack said while giving the little Skag some love. “I only had a crappy small tub at my old place so that sounds amazing.” He admitted. He was going to get right to reading how to train a Skag as soon as he was sure Jack was asleep. “If my one job around the house is training this cutie I can handle that.”

He could handle living here if that was all he had to worry about. He did however have a question come to mind. “I’m... Not going to upset you if I take my mask off at home right? I don’t normally wear it while I’m home...” He didn’t want to anger Jack about as much as he wanted to wear the damn mask.

“ If it makes you feel any better this one didn’t need pants. They don’t have any legs! “ He laughed knowing the sight of a dead body made his double uncomfortable to say the least. “ Anyways sucks to be this guy. “ 

“Oh God...” He grimaced and looked away from it covering his face a bit.  He did not want to be near this body any longer than they had to be. “Yeah it also sucks being near him. Lets just keep moving? Please?”

Jack was quiet the way up to the pent house leaning on the wall his eyes shut. His breathing light, yeah he definitely needed sleep. As they got to their floor there was a ding and a scan went over them, “the room unlocks to our bio-singnatures if someone else tries to enter…a unauthenterised person will be shot by security turrets.”

He wasn’t moving a whole lot until the elevator stopped and he the scans complete. He walked through the door and waited for Tim.

“I hope you like your gift, I mean you do seem like the type to want one anyways.” He was walking down a hallway.

Timothy listened, nodding at his words. So he already had his key in. “How does Nisha get in? Or can you like okay who comes in?” He was honestly curious. He doubted he’d ever bring someone back with him he wasn’t really the go clubbing and find someone to sleep with kind of guy. 

Timothy stayed close behind Jack as they walked down the hall. “Where is it?” He asked but he didn’t have to wait long before he heard the little whines. His eyes wen wide as he hurried ahead of Jack,  the double covered his mouth at the sight. “Jack? Jack is that a Skag pup?” 

He was out of character and there was no going back now. He fell to his knees eagerly opening the little crate the baby was in and pulling him into a hug. “Oh you are perfect!!” He happily gave the skag kisses before looking back at Jack, he’d honestly never smiled as wide as he was now since coming to Helios. “Is he mine? You’re really gonna let me have him?”

"That…was about the last time I slept. Because the speed naps at my desk don’t count.” He chuckled and closed his eyes. “Okay, I need coffee just to make it to our place.” He sat down at his desk and started to drink some. Exhaustion even looked good on him, Ninsha on one of her drunken softie night’s made mention how sexy Jack was when he was sleep deprived. He looked to Tim, “I got you a surprise at home, i…think you will like it.” He stood his eyes had the look, he was tired. The four hours may turn to six if it was needed.

Jack walked by the other, “come on kitten let’s go home, got to show you your room after all.”

Walking past Tim he went to the elavator, when the door dinged open he walked inside leaning on the wall. 

Timothy’s frown only deepened, how the hell was he still functioning like a person?! He moved to the older mans side to help him up if he’d let him. Of course he didn’t but Timothy was still there to offer it, following after him as he headed for the door. 

“You got me a surprise? What’s the occasion?” He was shocked to hear this and a strange mix of excited and nervous to see what it was. 

“Yeah.” he murmured following him into the elevator and pressing for Jack’s floor, leaning back against the wall once the doors closed. He wasn’t happy about moving in with the older man but he wasn’t upset either... He’d need time to figure out exactly how he felt being stuck in a penthouse with Jack.
