I think people misunderstand "x fell first, y fell harder " trope because it's not about like the one who fell harder loves the other person harder. It's just that the one who fell first falls in a graceful way, one step at the time, maybe gradually over a span of time. the most romantic thing ive ever seen in a tv show or movie is when Ri Jeong Hyeok in Crash Landing is on his own stacking a cupboard with food so that Yoon Se Ri can look after herself after he's gone because he's so worried she'll be depressed again and not eat, and then he pauses stacking and crouches a bit lower to be her height and reaches for the top shelf and realises she wont be able to reach, so stacks everything again but a bit lower. entirely silent scene no explanation or exposition. true love.
