Sorry for my long absence. Work has been busy and I am currently taking a vacation in Japan. Got myself something here. I won‘t be fully translating it, but I can load up summaries of the chapters once I‘ve read them.

Blazblue Radio: Ranking Island Masterpost

Starting with Blazblue Radio Wide (around the release of the expanded versions of BBCS, the segment: Ranking Island was introduced. A reference to Jins Gag reel brotherly island.

On the Blazblue Radio Homepage, tha staff would post various ranking questions like, 'which blazblue character would you like as your sibling?'.

On the Blazblue Radio Episode they would then post the the first 12 answers from the online surveys.

Blazblue Radio put up a survey online with 10 questions which were answered by blazblue radio fans. Here are the results:

These rankings were conducted during the release of the psp and 3ds release of Continuum Shift. Also the first 2 Phase Shift novels had already been released.

What would you say when you and your enemy wear the same T-Shirt during a battle?

Sugita: Ok, with Tension Gauge maxed out, let's play around. I got a penalty for drawing.

Asami: Scary, scary

Sugita: Let's see what the next corner is about

Asami: It's my first time so I am a bit nervous. Everyone, please take a moment. First of all, this Corner:

Sugita: Hey C*nd*me! Explain

Asami: HEY! The „Beep“ (she means censoring beep) will come!

Kanako: Let's start: „What if Blazblue“. Listenersasked us what would you say ifsomething like this happened during a battle: It is time for a big recruitment for this corner.

In this Corner, the three of us will adlip/improvise answers to your questions.

Asmai: NO!

Kanako: **laughs

Asami: I **inaudible (something about her voice) Then I'll be th eonly person in charge of asking everyones questions.

Sugita & Kanako: No, no, no, no!

Asami: the two of you can answer, Tsubaki is.....

Sugita: Aaaaa, waitwait, Imajin, Imajin-Sensei, it said the three of us!

Asami: (super fast) Because, you see, why don't we just say that Tsubaki is in that position?

Sugita: YOU'RE SO NOISY!

[A sign appears on screen by the staff with „Tsubaki is not that kind of character! -by Mori“ written on it]

Sugita: You will do it!

Asami: Well, since it's the first time, I say it's like this.. Well the three of us will do it together. Sugita-san:

Sugita: Yes, [reads the first what if scenario] If during a battle you and your enemy wear the same T-shirt, what would you say?

So during a battle, I dislike the fact that my opponent has the same shirt as me.

Asami: Everyone fights the last boss seriously and than...

Sugita: Pair-Look! Please give me four same-looking clothes-pieces

Asami: hard to understand! Is it an RPG?

Sugita: [to Kanako] Have you thought about it yet?

Kanako: y.. yes.

Sugita: So the main characters are: Imajin, Con*d*m and me.

Asami: Hey! This is bullying from the sempai.

Kanako: Uuurgh

Asami: Well, everyone understood.

Asami: Shimamura!? [Shimamura is a japanes fashion center]

Everyone(Including background staff and Mori): **laugh

Kanako: Shimamura!

Sugita: Ok, next one is Kondo-San. Let's go:

Kanako: Yes.

Kanako: Like a copy-Robot [the word robot is half censored. I don't know what the reference is]

Asami: Ok, Sugita you're next. When you and your enemy wear the same T-shirt during battle, what do you say:

Sugita: Ichiro-Brother [He means Ichiro Suzuki, the japanese Baseball player]

Asami: **laughs [inaudible due to laughter]

Sugita: maybe their brothers

Asami: wrong

[Sugita and Asami continue discussing, I think it is about a baseball game, but I can barely understand it.]

Asami: Well, this corner is quite scary.

Kanako&Sugita: Yeah, It is scary

Noel: Starting position.....go! [SFX: starting shot is fired] [Ragna and Hibiki start running]

Ragna: *pant...*pant [Ragna gets ahead of Hibiki]

Hibiki: Ku.. I can't lose!.....*pant, *pant

Noel: Ragna, give it your best!

Tsubaki: Please never give up, Captain Kohaku!

[Ragna reaches a lottery box]

Ragna: Which - should - I - choose ? Hah, THIS ONE! [draws a paper]

[ 弟= "younger Brother" is written on it]

Ragna: Huh?! Nononononono! I'm sorry, but I can't excuse this. [Ragna throws the paper, Jin runs after it in the background. Hibiki catches up]

Hibiki: Ragna-san, you're quite fast, but I will turn this around here!

[draws lot: "a super cool and reliable Boss" is written on it]

Hibiki: Hmmm, you're not here in this place, are you? [throws it away] Relax and take another sheet. Huh? [draws a letter from the box]

Hibiki: This is....doesn't seem to be an item borrowed for the competition.

Ragna: Huh? You, Hibiki, what did you draw?

Hibiki [reads the letter]: bluraji-Name: other Tsukishiro Nami-san** What do you particularly like about Oriental sweets, Hibiki-Kun? Hmmmm, that's right. It would be Mizu-Shingen Mochi. It feels plain. It has a translucent quality that melts in your mouth in no time, and best of all, it has a translucent feel. Ahhh, so nostalgic.

Ragna: You're answering so leisurely!?

Hibiki: hm...Well, since I was able to answer it successfully, it means I can continue running.

Ragna: What!?

Hibiki: Well, if you excuse me. Ragna-san. [continues running]

Ragna: Hrgh! DAMN IT! WAIT! which one..which one... [draws another lot] Soo.. "Yandere" !? Heeeeey, what's going on? WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THIS LOTTERY?? [Nu and Jin appear]

**almost every letter for the dramatic theatre has the kanji for other after the name [他]. I don’t know what the meaning of this is.

(deep sigh) Jeez, this is such stupid question. Hard boiled is the way to go! The white and round shape.. That's what it is! It is the ultimate beauty!! soft boiled-eggs are extremely half-hearted!

I can't believe that this is some type of boiled egg! I do not approve!! soo, as for.... hee? where is the real [お] picture card?

Susanoo: I already took it.

Hazama/Terumi: Whaaat!?

**I think they are referring to Yuichi Nakamura (Hazama makes a small remark, but I am not quite sure)

I want to try to translate some of the Blazblue radio stuff. Mainly to practice my japanese and because I am very curious about the behind the scenes stuff of Blazblue. I am gonna post my findings here. Can‘t promise anything though. This is just for fun.
