Argentina JUST PASSED a groundbreaking gender identity bill!!!
From now on, people will be able to change the name and gender on their ID without needing psychiatric permission or any body modifications. Furthermore, anyone who does want hormones or surgery will be able to access them for free through the public and private health system.
It was passed unanimously today by the Senate
UNANIMOUSLY
Argentina is just getting more awesome by the year. Countries that aren’t Argentina need to take note.
Check out the great turnout at the NSU meeting! Congrats to our newest officers Daniel, Tiffany, Khadija, and Taylor

Okay. I’m sorry. This doesn’t go with my blog. Whatever. I understand that, but there is something about this that is really striking.
I hate our current education system. It seems like a mass production of engineers, doctors… any sort of profession that perpetuates and stabilizes the economy and “adequately contributes to society”. If you’re not a doctor, or a lawyer, or an engineer, you’re worthless.
I hate this. I despise this sort of social control, encapsulating our societies’ young teenagers in a suffocating trap, in which they are forced into professions they hate. It may be naive, but what ever happened to human beings pursuing their own careers? Their own “lots in life”? Contributing society in their own way, rather than being taught to think like everyone else, act like everyone else, go to the same colleges as everyone else, and go into the same professions as everybody else?
Whatever happened to thinking for one’s self or maybe even making one’s own decision as to what career path to follow?
Whatever happened to that innate pursuit of learning within us all, that is contorted and suppressed by such a deafening and suffocating system?
I want to become a secondary school teacher. I want to go into education reform. I want to transform public education into what it is supposed to be, not what it is now. I want to perpetuate new ideas, philosophies, innovations and most of all, individual students.
I want to put an end to this kind of social control and allow an individual’s education to be a more autonomous and liberated one.
I am done this flawed system.
When Students cheat on exams it’s because our School System values grades more than Students value learning.
