Orange County debuted live alongside the rest of the album during the House of Kong "Mystery Show" on 3 September 2025 at the Copper Box ArenaW in London. Bizarrap first teased the collaboration in June 2025 by posting an Instagram reel of himself working in Studio 13. On 8 January 2026, Orange County and The Hardest Thing were revealed via Apple Music as the next double A-side single for Gorillaz. On 13 January, a snippet of Orange County was made available on the Groove Bones Selecta Juke Box. The next day, Kong Card holders were given the opportunity to pre-order the double A-side on 7" vinyl, with general sales beginning on 15 January. Only 1,500 units were available worldwide.
