Baby, I know places we won't be found and they'll be chasing their tails trying to track us down...
Film posters inspired by HAYLOR songs.
The last time I wrote a poem that ended up being a song, I was writing in my journal and I was writing about something that had happened in my life — it was about a year ago — andd I just wrote this really really short poem, it said “This love is good / this love is bad / this love is alive back from the dead / these hands had to let it go free / and this love came back to me” and I just wrote it down and closed the book and put it back on my night stand […] All of a sudden in my head I just started hearing this melody happen, and then I realized that it was going to be a song.

"taylor swift isn't even a good musician" actually she is, to the point where well liked songwriters like paul mccartney and bruce springsteen have praised her lyricism and composition. you just listened to 22 and decided she wasn't allowed to write fun songs alongside her masterfully crafted ballads.
TAYLOR SWIFT To put it plainly, we just couldn’t stop writing songs. To try and put it more poetically, it feels like we were standing on the edge of the folklorian woods and had a choice: to turn and go back or to travel further into the forest of this music. We chose to wander deeper in. I’ve never done this before. In the past I’ve always treated albums as one-off eras and moved onto planning the next one after an album was released.
i’ve seen a lot of people say they hate the sound of closure and find it hard to listen to since the backing track is so jarring but i think that’s the beauty of the song. if you’ve ever felt like you’re completely moved on from someone and then they reach out to you that’s exactly how it feels, like they’re interrupting your life and it dredges up so many conflicting emotions.
as if you were a mythical thing ; like you were a trophy or a champion ring ...
