- At first, the Applicant should be the residence of Kerala state.
- Most important the applicant's child should be an orphan.
- Under this scheme, the applicant should be studying in any of the schools also, either a government school or a private school.
- In addition to income criteria, applicants should be from the below poverty line family.
- In the case of a child from the Above Poverty Line category, then annual income for the rural and urban areas have differed.
- So, the annual income for the rural areas must be below 20 thousand Rs per annum.
- The annual income for the urban areas should also be below 22,375 Rs per annum.
