In Super Mario 64 DS, the large lava-covered platforms in the Bowser in the Fire Sea course have a hidden compartment inside them below the floor.

Top: How the platform appears during gameplay, with the camera above the lava.

Middle: Here, the camera is moved down slightly so it is beneath the lava. The floor is now visible clearly.

Bottom: However, if the camera is moved down even further, under that floor is a hidden narrow space with another secret floor. The purpose of this space is unknown.
