Here’s a random little sketch I made today. It’s a Nezu plushie with a squeaker toy, just a cute little concept. Someone, I’m not naming who @nezutheprophet kept telling me to post it. So without further or do, here’s the smol boi :)

Not meant to be a thirst trap, oops

Building off of a post by @nezuiscool regarding animal behavior; I also believe that Nezu would fight (if necessary) more like an animal on four legs. I’m going to also assume Nezu’s reflexes and general agility surpass standard humans and would use this to his advantage to dodge hits and jump substantial distances to confuse opponents. His small size is also something most people have never fought against — thus giving him the advantage.

I headcanon Nezu using his sharp claws to hit pressure points not requiring as much strength as his main offensive attack. And (if acting as a good hero) having to resist the natural instinct to go for the back of the neck with sharp teeth to sever the spinal cord for a killing blow.

Just imagine a massive, super fast rat sprinting at you. Horrifying. Anyway. This took waaay longer than I thought it would. But, at least the next chapter is almost done (along with my sanity).

How Nezu got his scar

Excerpt:

Nezu’s claw dragged gently down the gash in his face and Izuku dug his own nails into his palms, “And we both know well enough that the best way to lower an enemy’s guard is to appear weak and injured. It was simple enough to accomplish with a shard of glass. Bloody enough to incite panic, believable enough to avoid suspicion, and placed where movement wouldn’t be hindered.”

Due to him being around humans so much and having clearly adapted to human customs very well, we haven’t seen Nezu act much like his..species very often.

However there is a point into the manga and anime where we see Principal Nezu climb into furniture. Which is so far the closest we’ve seen him act in a ‘natural’ way, for his kind.

There he starts climbing, pushing himself up and onto the couch.

Then Principal Nezu gets into a more balanced position and pushes himself off the side of the couch, with a paw.

Which then leads us to see Nezu crawling along the couch before he sits down and lectures All Might. But during this small set of frames, we get to see how Principal Nezu walks.

While it is true Principal Nezu wall upright like a human and appears very comfortable doing so. Due to the fact that he isn’t a human and infact a....uh...another animal. It would not be surprising to see that Nezu has other forms of walking around.

Which he possibly does in his alone time or when not that many are around, to not gain too much attention. Which would help prevent unsuspecting humans asking what exactly he is, since throughout the series Nezu seems a bit self aware of that fact.

Though this does make me wonder if in a battle or similar scenario, you would see Principal Nezu sprinting across a battle field on all four. Considering the fact that Nezu has some heavy shoes, I wouldn’t be surprised to see that they would slow him down, while running in an upright position.

Perhaps Nezu would run upright when messing with students, getting around the school, late to meetings or even an all out brawl with villains who are attacking UA.

But if it would get to the point where students and staff were getting seriously injured. Then I wouldn’t be surprised if Principal Nezu were to get low to the ground and get more serious, in his fighting style.

Nezu cackled with an intensity he couldn’t remember having before, sharp claws digging into the side of his mouse until it cracked and his entire body shaking with the force of it.

Something my night brain came up with a little while back. In my mind principal Nezu is an absolute savage and a feral rat bastard. There is this sort of a quiet conflict between his outer appearance and personality I find hilarious. Aizawa has tried to resign 9 times.

Also, are my comics too reliant on dialogue? ; m ; even though they always start as just that in my head - are there too few images? I've tried to keep them short & concise as not to drag them on unnecessarily.
