Pit

Sickening, dreadful, aching sensations Nauseating, uneasy, throbbing pulses I want them to stop, to cease and be laid to rest. I want it to end, this gap, this rift, the pulling at our stitches. I long for calm seas with wisps of laughter and smiles and never ending butterflies But I am drift wood, in stormy seas as unpredictable as summer rain I want only smiles as wide as the horizon, and kisses as warm as the sun on my cheek. I don't know if we can escape this hollow we've made, these chains we've forged, these shackles we bear, this feeling in my stomach.
