Man okay. Moving internationally is so stressful. I came here with two suitcases and a book bag and I’m now surrounded by the last four years of my life condensed down into don’tjudgeme 16 neat little boxes. It’s weird. I keep seeing people and forgetting that I won’t meet them again for a long, long time if at all. This is so weird I hate this. But I also have so much to look forward to when I return home. There’s nothing I can do but sniffle, say goodbye and get on the plane.

I want to have this breakdown already. The buildup is hell. I want to be normal again. I want this to be over.

Struggling with these as I pack up my house this week.

I just said goodbye to my kyudo club and it was probably the hardest goodbye so far. They gifted me a scrapbook page of pictures from various events and a letter, my kyudo mama made me a tissue case from an old kimono (!!!) and one of them gave me two bows, a new set of arrows and several things I’ll need to maintenance my bows & arrows.

I have been doubting every decision I’ve made all week and haven’t slept in the last three days. Stress has killed my appetite, so I’ve only nibbled at a sandwich every now and then. I’m doing Not So Good. I just want a nap, my BOEs full cooperation, all my things packed, my guinea pig home safe and the next part of my life to start.

What bureaucratic ass thought "Yeah. Three hours between Haneda and Narita is doable." with all my luggage my BOE refuses to ship to Narita ahead of time? Super cool really looking forward to it.

I’m at such a loss with them tbh because like???? There’s no reason for them not cooperating with me other than it means extra phone calls they have to make? I’ve already told them I’m fine paying the fees for all of it, am I fine with lugging my bow, arrows, guinea pig, carry on and back pack to Fukuoka by myself just fuckin’ tell the airline this is how it’s going to be when I show up so they’re ready and there aren’t any surprises jesus christ almighty why is this so hard.

Flying bows and arrows via plane as sports equipment (A gem: “Can’t you just mail it?” Ffffffffffffuck no, unless all of you would like to buy me another 1500 dollar bow when this one is inevitably destroyed somewhere along the way.)

Taking my guinea pig back home (It’s not. I researched the hell out of it when I bought her and every six months since then. Healthy rodents don’t need to be quarantined or examined coming from Japan to America. She’s good to go.)

Like honestly they have me feeling like they just want me to quietly leave with my two suitcases. Shit’s not going to happen y’all, sorry to make you actually do work?
