Alive,but dead.
I get the feeling that people are slowly losing their ability to connect with things that take time to feel or understand. Instead, content that's visually intense or sexually charged seems to grab attention much more easily. Maybe it's the impact of short videos, algorithmic culture, or just the overload of information, but the shift feels real, and kind of sad.
Okay,That's Interesting. Creation like observing humans for me.
A reader recently told me they liked Classmate Is Merman. I was happy to hear that—because I like that story too.
But honestly…I've never been sure if it's a"good"story or not. Is popularity really an indicator of quality in webtoons? Of course not.But when a story doesn't get much attention, it's hard not to take it personally. It starts to feel like the silence is saying,"Your story just isn't good enough.”
That thought stayed with me for a long time—and it really weighed me down.
I don't even know when season 3 will come out.Maybe those experiences made me feel like it's not a good story after all…and maybe that's why I haven't felt like going back to the platform.
OK...I finished Episode1 of Party In The Dark last year, but I've been correcting some panel details recently. I didn't expect it to take so much time.
5 years ago, I came up with a new BL story, but something happened, and I never got the chance to draw it. Since then, I've been through a lot at work, and those experiences have helped me grow. They've also made the characters in that story feel more alive and emotional, and along the way, I've come to understand what creating truly means to me.
Now, I feel ready to breathe life into that story again!
