The images we focus on determine the course and direction of our lives. We are visual beings, designed to look forward. Lot when departing from Abram in Genesis chapter 13, first “saw” and “chose” for himself the well watered plain of the Jordan. Then he “pitched his tent” even as far as Sodom. Lastly it says he “dwelt in Sodom.” Proverbs 4:25 “Let your eyes look straight ahead and your eyelids right before you.” .... powder the path of your feet... and remove your foot from evil.
