I think the most important thing I've started doing as a gardener is keeping records and a garden journal. I keep track of how many pounds of vegetables I've harvested, experiments I've conducted, what went right/wrong, how I think I can fix it in the future, when seeds were started and planted. I know how much I need to plant because I've tracked the yields certain varieties produce on average. It's been indispensable being able to go back over the last 5 years of gardens and learn from my mistakes and experiments. Because let's face it, no matter how much I think I'll remember something, I'm going to forget by the next year! #hobbyhomestead #gardenjournal https://www.instagram.com/p/CAvV10TjeAntP9AggW4yTV1xmoj1NPHhGco6wo0/?igshid=650on04vwlf4
