When people say that they want something “like” Gilmore Girls, what people really mean is something heartwarming, quirky, with interesting and realistic family dynamics, a slice of life dramedy NOT another show with basically the same plot and characters

Why Gilmore Girls got so successful in the first place was that it wasn’t like any other show on tv at that time bc of the plot, tone, and dialogue. (and honestly still to this day)
