there’s a Star Trek TNG episode where they find and reanimate 3 humans out of some cryo pods from the 20th or 21st century and one of them used to be a banker or some shit and he keeps annoying Picard because he thinks he’s important talking bout I need to contact my bank and Picard is just like “bank? things have changed broski. People are no longer obsessed with the accumulation of things. We’ve eliminated hunger. The want and need for possessions. We’ve grown out of our infancy” and the dude’s like “so what do you guys do/how do you measure” and Picard says “we dedicate ourselves to the pursuit of something greater and the fulfilment of self”. Something along those lines. Anyway I think about that scene every now and then. Can you imagine? being in the crib doing yoga all day and dropping my parables on the internet with no worries or just planet hopping in “civil service”

The speeding vehicles on the highway can provide enough wind for these turbines to work all day and night without stopping. The energy generated can be transported to places or it can be used for maintenance of roadways.“
