Pas touche à ma photo  California - Route 66
I wonât lie, I usually dislike rap. Why? For the lack of clever lyrics, repetitive stories of ghetto boys who all sing about the same thing. And thatâs where Orelsan get some points (unluckily, most of you canât understand but believe me, it lyrically deserves attentionâŠ) Why? The answer is simple, he sums up perfectly the regular subjects in rap with a bitter taste than usual. Raps about things than more people can relate to. Uses irony, shout about a loneliness which is currently appearing in a too formalized world. (Ok some people may think, thatâs rap, always complaining, but I donât careâŠI mean, in some ways, it sounds DIFFERENT than the regular shit our radio playâŠ.)
For example, he got a song about the fear of loosing which is lyrically strong and thus an exact portrait of what most of real artists can often feelâŠ(I never saw such an exact reflect of the feels that I happen to have in rap music in factâŠ)
Iâll try to make an english translation of some of his songs, if the time allows it to meâŠ.
For the moment, well, enjoy the vid and song if youâre not that reticent to open your mind to different genres⊠;)
