Yupo painting sketch of a photo of a field in my hometown that I took several winters ago. Painting was done on a recent Youtube livestream (here, at the 1 hr 26 min mark). Not too sure what I think of Yupo paper yet, but it does encourage me to be more loose and not-precious with my warmup sketches.

Repost in honor of my 10 year anniversary of surviving my MFA. That was a really tough period of my life, and I still have mixed feelings about it to this day. However, it really shaped the arc of my life (for better and for worse), so there is that.
