Inspired by the well known story of The tale of the three Brothers: 

Antioch Peverell and Bianca Di Angelo - Died because one of their actions caused a chain reaction resulting in their deaths. (Antioch boasting about his powerful wand and Bianca getting the Hades statue for Nico.)

Cadmus Peverell and Hazel Levesque - Died because of their love for someone close to them. (Cadmus resurrecting his late wife with the resurrection stone but killing himself to be with her because she didn’t belong in the mortal world and Hazel (The first time.) avenging her mother by destroying Gaea’s son, Alcyoneus, by sinking him back into the earth for another 50 years. Plus the whole world was at stake. I also want to mention that Hazel could of just left because if Maria cooperated, Gaea would let her live, but no, Hazel still loved her  mother so much (Even after treating her so badly.) that instead of leaving her she kicked Gaea’s dirt ass.) 

Ignotus Peverell and Nico Di Angelo - Will Great/Greeted death as an old friend because of the choices they will make/made. (Ignotus used the cloak of invisibility to hid from death for a long time until he reached a certain age and went willingly, as equals. Although it is not clear about Nico’s future. I would want to think Tartarus made him stronger, and he will end up getting better because:

-Hazel will be there for him.

-Annabeth and Percy will be there for him. If they even get out of Tartarus.

-Hell, Frank might even be there for him.

-Plus Dinoysus/Bacchus is good with madness and could help with those mental illnesses. 

So all in all, Nico will go on with life and die of old age (He better) and great death (Basically his own father.) as an old friend.)
