“I’d expect nothing less,” he all but chirped. Her enthusiasm was infectious. “I’d much rather you do it because I’ll admit I have no idea what I’m doing.” He leaned his forehead against hers, a smile playing on his lips. He’d be forever grateful, too, because whatever she decided to do would be presentable to his parents, who deserved nothing but the best.
“That’s why you have me. You just have to do as you’re told with it all and we’ll get it done in no time.” Rivkah was used to taking the lead after all. She was teaching small children for a living so it came naturally. She had to give them some kind of structure. She let her forehead rest against his. “I sound like I’m going to be giving you construction paper and safety scissors. Sorry about that.”
"That I can do," he said with a grin. If he could get out of making these sort of decisions, he would do his best to do just that. He kissed the tip of her nose, laughing. "If you were doing that, you'd see how poor of a decision letting me choose anything for our place."
