Ever think about how technically the younger brothers are more scared of Mammon than Lucifer?

Lucifer's sadistic. He's easily angered, and he always retaliates. And he makes sure his retaliation always takes the form of cruel and unusual punishments. His brothers are scared of the consequences but they're never scared enough to actually stop
Mammon, on the other hand, is a pushover. He doesn't hold grudges, and his bark is so much worse than his bite. He instantly folds if someone aplogises after wronging him, and usually, he'll even apologise back despite not really doing anything wrong. Mammon's usually also part of whatever shenanigans the others are doing
And in spite of all that, the younger brothers all keep pushing and testing Lucifer. They're constantly doing things that they know will piss Lucifer off, and no matter what he does and no matter how much the younger brothers don't want to face the consequences that's never going to stop any of them from continuing whatever they are doing
But with Mammon, in the handful of times we've seen his younger brothers genuinely anger him, they stop or retreat instantly. Hell, there's even a moment in Nightbringer where Belphie is willing to keep pushing against Lucifer but instantly backs down when Mammon gets in-between them and tells him to stop
And y'know what? It's the Strict Teacher vs Fun Teacher thing. The Strict Teacher is always going to be like that, you know exactly what to expect when you piss off the Strict Teacher. Meanwhile, when you finally manage to piss off the Fun Teacher you know you've Fucked Up™

Four years ago, I stumbled across a small, humble otome game. I had thought it would be a passing phase — just something to enjoy on the sidelines for a little while. But before I knew it, I had fallen in love with the world, the characters, and the stories, and I came to see the Devildom as my second home. I remember days when I was feeling down and, maybe not so coincidentally (hehe), will come a message asking me how I was doing or simply offering something to take my mind off of things. Despite being fictional, I think the games brought to me something very real.
Unfortunately, Obey Me, as a game, is ending quite soon. As a thank you for everything, I decided to create this piece.

"here, let me help you." you took the lipstick the team borrowed from one of the staffs.
as you held tobio's face still, you carefully swiped the rosewood-colored lipstick on his left cheek, making a thin line similar to scratch wound. "there," you muttered.
ali roma has a unique tradition. when there is this one match every season on november, they will make a rosewood-colored face mark. for the whole season you work with ali roma and date with tobio, you never know what it is for. maybe it was to lift their spirits. for whatever it is, this little tradition is very cute to you.
"i swear to god, you guys always find a way to be lovebirds!" mancini, the captain, slightly complained as he passed by us. his italian hand gestures complemented the comedy.
"said a man who can't help but call his wife every one hour!" tobio countered his captain's words with his now fluent italian. the whole locker room laughed.
"w-what did he say?" you blinked in confusion as you were still new to italian.
tobio just shook his head and patted your head, smiling. "nothing to worry about."

Mammon's voice rings in your ear, clearer than ever.
You can still hear him bickering about his latest scheme—the one you both had butted heads over—and then there was the mutual agreement of not telling Lucifer about its outcome.
Your eyes skim over the text in the screen, mind focused on the words, memory replaying over and over like a tape.
You ignore Barbatos's outstretched hand. And he lets you, not able to find it in himself to remind you, not wanting to interrupt what fleeting moments remain of you in this realm.
"MC," Solomon's voice is a whisper, meant to remind you gently of the situation. "It's time."
"Sorry," You blurt out, quickly closing your D.D.D. before handing it over to Barbatos. You don't look him in the eye when you do that. You fear your heart will crumble.
"Does this have to be?"
The Prince wishes he could refute what he had said earlier, but there is no other way. No other timeline where it does not end. No other timeline where you stay.
Perhaps all the timelines would have only led to once final outcome.
"What if they just stay? They are happy here, and hastening would only lead to future problems." Lucifer attempts to be the voice of reason, but even he knows that it is an exercise in futility. "Can....there be no other way?"
Your knees feel like they might just give out. Impending doom rests heavy in your stomach, clouding every thought, every action.
"I don't want to leave you all," You mutter, voice heavy. If you say the words out loud you're afraid you'll burst into tears. "You took my D.D.D. too, is it truly that bad?"
You feel the pactmarks growing faint.
You have always come back to the Devildom, always—with the knowledge that you would be back—whether by landing on Satan's head or babysitting seven overgrown babies. You have always come back, from the human realm or the past.
So why not now?
"I do not want you to leave, none of us want you to, but there is no other option. No other choice."
Diavolo's words seal your fate.
It wasn't supposed to go this way, it was—it was supposed to be you and everyone else going through each day like usual, not for this sudden news to come crashing down.

Q: Your sister played really well in Japan. With her great debut in the under-category national team and in Hikari Red Rabbits, she made her name pretty bright for such a young player. Now that she decided to play abroad, how do you feel?
Shoyo laughed softly as he heard the interviewer's question. "Right, my sister is someone with a pure sport talent. She has a great mentality. But still, when I heard that she accepted the offer to play in Italy, I couldn't help but worry."
The tangerine-haired man gazed distantly pass the camera lenses and the interviewer's eyes, as if he was looking back at things in the past.
"It would very different from when she played in Japan, where she was close to our family. Or even if she wants to play abroad, at least in Brazil, she would have me to look after her, whatever city she ends up playing in," Shoyo continued.
"Brazil and Italy are not cities apart. We're basically in two different parts of the world. But when we could finally talk again, with all the worries I had, I realized that she is still the Natsu I know. I was relieved. Despite all that, Italy is a good place to develop her skills and talents and use it for the the national team later." That was how Shoyo ended his answer, smiling to the interviewer.
