When you forget to bring your knitting...
When you have to stay up to finish that knitted gift by tomorrow...
When someone keeps bugging you to knit something for them...
Knowing you have less than two months to complete your Christmas knitting...
Cause it's that time of the year again...
When it's finally cold enough for knitwear...
When you think you are on track for Christmas knitting...
...and realize how much things you still need to get done...
(because even though we make plans early, we only really start in December :P)
When someone tells you how much money you can make by selling your knitted items...
and you don't know how to start explaining the high cost of labour alone...
Whenever someone asks me to knit something for them...
When you tell yourself you are going on a yarn diet...
yarn diet: when you think you have enough yarn and plan to not buy any more until you finish at least a good portion of your stash.
My reaction whenever people make fun of knitting or crocheting...
When you finally cast off and it doesn't fit...
When you lose track and have to recount your stitches...again...and again...
...and again
When people comment how it must be nice to have "so much free time" because you craft...
When you pulled out the wrong needle, and the stitches start to fall apart
When a knitting or crochet pattern is described as quick & easy...
Realizing you read a pattern wrong, after having already started...
Every project I want to start calls for needles/the hook I'm already using on something else:
The life story of every knitter and crocheter
It is how people begin to own multiples of the same size needles.
