Suicidal people shouldn’t be told the main reason they shouldn’t kill themselves is because of how it might affect others. Suicidal people deserve love, help and support, not guilt trips. Suicidal people deserve to feel like their life is worth living, for their own sake.
Also not everyone has others. I know that might sound impossible but it’s not so maybe reminding them of that isn’t a good idea.
I just want to give my whole heart to someone who actually fucking wants it.
I finally found that.
SHREK 2 (2004)
There’s no quick fix for healing from deep betrayal.
Screaming and yelling at children violates their sense of value. Parents who call their children “stupid,” “silly,” “crazy,” “asshole,” and so on wound them with every word. Emotional abuse also comes in the form of rigidity, perfectionism, and control. Perfectionism produces a deep sense of toxic shame. No matter what you do, you never measure up. All shame-based families use perfectionism, control, and blame as manipulating rules. Nothing you say, do, feel, or think is okay. You shouldn’t feel what you feel, your ideas are crazy, your desires are stupid. You are continuously found to be flawed and defective.
Homecoming: Reclaiming and Championing Your Inner Child by John Bradshaw
“These (unmet needs from infancy) are recycled when you’re in life transitions, in a crisis, whenever you’re starting anything new.”
- John Bradshaw
They may never apologize for hurting you.
They may give you a crappy, half-assed, and/or insincere apology.
They may never empathize with your pain, or suffer as you have.
They may never be held accountable for their actions.
They may never face any kind of justice.
They may never own up to their wrongdoing, or take responsibility for it.
They may never make restitution towards you.
They may never make any effort to regain your trust.
They may never realize they did you wrong, or understand why you're upset.
They may tell you you're overreacting, or blame you.
They may never have the same kind of relationship (or any kind of relationship) with you again.
They may never learn their lesson.
They may never grow.
They may go on to hurt someone else.
They may never admit that they were in the wrong.
They may never face any kind of consequences.
They may never do the work.
All of that is their problem, not yours.
Heal and live your best life anyway, independently of them and what they are and are not doing. Don't give them that kind of power over you and your well-being. They don't deserve it.
Do you get turned on seeing your mutual’s cocks?
Most often no but sometimes
