I never did believe them.
it's like the vehicles with both a thin blue line and a come and take it sticker?
President Trump paid tribute to the late senator, who was reportedly scheduled to do an interview on Sunday.
Age verification is becoming identity verification. The result wonât be a safer internet â it will be a less private, less free one.
Imagine your favorite team just scored an incredible, last-second goal at the World Cup. So you log online to celebrate with other fans. But, using data itâs already collected on you, the social media platform you like to post on wrongly guesses that youâre under 16 so it forces you to go to a third-party verification app and provide images of your face or your government-issued ID. You donât really know much about the verification app, what country itâs based out of, what happens with your information, and whether youâre protected from hackers or data breaches. Youâre not happy about it, but you hand over a photo of your passport and hope it doesnât come back to haunt you.
Now imagine that instead of posting about sports, youâre criticizing a powerful politician, or talking about your experiences with abuse or addiction, or discussing embarrassing medical issues youâre facing. Suddenly this âpapers, pleaseâ approach to the internet sounds even more invasive, right? Unfortunately, thatâs the direction weâre all headed â even here in the United States â and we have good reason to be wary of the global rush to sacrifice user privacy on the altar of age verification.
The crux of the anti trans movement is a war on bodily autonomy. They don't want you to have any agency over what you look like, how you dress, who you date, whether to have kids, etc.
They want total control over you. Not just trans people. Not just queer people. You. Everyone.
Trans people are just a scapegoat. They want total control over everyone's self expression. They want the right to mold you into their perfect little cog in their dehumanizing machine.
Happy Trans Day of Visibility. Our rights are your rights. Our destruction is your destruction.
10/10 post bringing it back for 2026
happy june you should love trans people
he's gonna die one day soon and it wont fix everything but it'll feel great and the whole world is gonna fucking party together
there's a massive, underreported subculture on this site that i can only describe as secular mormonism if mormons voted democrat
zero moral nuance
queer-inclusive but still misogynist
don't have to be from the US, do have to act like you are
ostensibly welcoming to everybody, mysteriously white as hell
terrified of the idea that sex could be enjoyable for anyone
absolutely incapable of structural critique, everything is individual moral choices
enforcement through public humiliation and isolation accountability :)
fear of infiltration by a corrupting outside influence - asserting a right to privacy or failing to publicly demonstrate moral in-group status is treated as a confession
the worst music you've ever heard in your life
shunning out the unwanted making a callout post + harassment campaign
Imagine being the gays at a pride event in 2004 living their lives when someone grabs the microphone and announces to the room that Ronald Reagan was pronounced dead. Can you even imagine the hype, the celebration, the pure elation
This is the Pride Month that It will happen. I feel it in my gay bones
My country music heroes werenât sellouts. They cared about Americans. The young, the elderly, education, small business, pro labor, national healthcare, anti-war and they said fuck you to the ultra wealthy and the establishment.
đșđž Their values and their beliefs were đŻ% contrary to the current crop of modern Maga sellout country pop singers.
. . . a DNA test of Cash's daughter Rosanne in 2021 on Finding Your Roots. . . found sub-Saharan African DNA on her paternal side, from an unknown African ancestor.[17][d]
is it within the realm of possibility for Catholics to use the new encyclical as evidence in the case of not wanting to use AI in the workplace for religious reasons?
