I'm curious what Verso's and Aline's relationship was like when it came to his craft.

With Renoir, you kinda get the idea he wanted Verso to paint, but did Aline want him to paint too?

In her memories, within the monolith, you can see her teaching him to play. In the real manor, the piano belongs to Aline. Verso talks about studying at the conservatory and how it feels to perform could be argued if this was something only painted Verso got to experience out of guilt

Honestly, sometimes this fandom treats Aline too harshly.

She has done some shitty things, but seeing some of the things people try and pin on her is crazy and has convinced me that some people played with their eyes and ears closed.

Aline did not wipe a ton of the Gestrals, Grandis, or create the fracture to build Lumière. The fracture happened when Renoir entered the canvas, and they started fighting. Which resulted in a lot of Gestrals and Grandis dying.

Aline was not the one doing the Gommage. It was Renoir at the bottom of the monolith. The number painted on the monolith was a warning.

Aline did not re-enter the canvas so she could get Renoir out and leave Alicia to die in the canvas. How tf does one reach that conclusion? idk. Renoir is a stronger painter than Alicia. Without Aline's intervention, he would have pushed Alicia out and destroyed the canvas.

I don't think Aline is the one pushing for Verso to pick painting over music

I sometimes think about Renoir attacking the Gestral Village and what got him to back off. Like did Verso and Monoco intervene or did the Gestrals beat his ass so bad he never did it again
