I said on the ask before, but I don't mind saying it again. You're right, it is a representation of himself as a child with a dream. Since the original post was talking about Liam and his whole message at the SB was about how we're ALL part of America, my mind made the association as if it was a homage. That just because the USA treated him so inhumanely, that he still has value and lots of people ready to love and support him to achieve his own dreams.
