back to my daily schedule of itty bitty teeny tiny mouse posting. generally speaking, how old she's feeling directly correlates with how close she is to leon and/or ada at any given moment
you know how sometimes parents jokingly fight over being their kid’s favorite parent? that's sooooooo aeon to me. like leon will send ada selfies of him with grace sleeping in his lap, and ada will fire back with a photo of her carrying helena on her back.
having fictional cgs is so funny because i'll be upset nd small and think to myself Oh no.... i can't disturb oomf it's the middle of the night.... baby your oomf in question is a character from a video game.
on mother's day one year, helena and leon both decide to chip in on a present for hunnigan: a box of her favorite fancy chocolates, and one of those Best Mom Ever! mugs. it was meant to be more of a gag gift, but it swiftly becomes her go-to coffee mug. no one in the office dares question her about it.
sherry mon ange .. lately i’ve been having the feeling that sherry would sometimes struggle to feel small especially around leon and claire because she feels like she already missed out her on chance to experience childhood with them .. I think she’d need to be coaxed into being small a lot
i do think that ashley would have become a bit reclusive following re4. sleeping her days away, hiding inside her room and only leaving when she has to for college. its only once she starts skipping her classes that her dad calls in his secret weapon, to try and help her adjust to living the outside world again. basically, leon ends up having playdates with her under the president’s orders
it starts off as watching ashley play nintendogs on her ds, taking her out to the dog park to run around with her real life puppy, and bringing her to meet hunnigan and tour hq. small trips to places she’s familiar with, or knows that they will be safe
eventually, ashley slowly returns to being the more social person of the two, and leon finds himself being the one dragged to and fro, like an occasional dave and busters trip to play ddr with her, or beginner art classes at the local library.
i think when she’s feeling particularly hyper ashley loves a game of spy or ‘the floor is lava’ .. anything that has her up on the coffee table or hiding behind the couch and jumping out at leon on his way to the kitchen. leon plays the damsel in distress and she will get ingrid on the phone to be her ‘handler’. hunnigan plays into it soooo much too she thinks it’s hilarious especially when ashley makes leon be the bad guy or when she calls to tattle that leon isn’t playing right (this usually happens when leon takes a game of ‘the floor is lava’ as an opportunity to just lie on the couch and ashley gets huffy)

basic info: wasian, 24-years old, she/her trans lesbian. you might need to read about my other oc for this to make sense
(01) background
☆ maisy dubois is a pediatric nurse, currently working as a member of terrasave's medical staff. her role primarily places her in their rehabilitation facilities, caring for children who have been taken into terrasave's care following an incident.
☆ born to a single mother who worked an emergency room doctor, maisy has dreamed of working in medicine since she was a young child. lots of her childhood photos feature her with a toy stethoscope wrapped around her neck, because she always wanted to match with her momma.
☆ maisy transitioned early, and mostly navigates the world in stealth. while terrasave is more diverse and accepting of diversity compared to some other organizations, she's still not that comfortable sharing her identity with her peers. her mother chose her name, as a reference to the maisy mouse book series, because mouse was her favorite nickname growing up.
☆ very happy-go-lucky, or at least that's the impression she tries to give people. she's more than aware of how vulnerable her patients are, but she's also aware that a smiling face is what some kids need to see in the doom and gloom of a hospital room. however, her work is clearly taking a toll on her, and the cracks are starting to show.
☆ unlike my other oc, maisy is a bit of a workaholic. she'll clock off from her shift, and then clock on to her second job of being the cool nurse lady who is really good at card games. claire has had to drag her away from more than one game of go fish, because her 12 hour shift had likely ended two hours prior.
(02) agere specific notes
⋆ primarily a cg, but she does regress on occasion!! tweenre (8-10 ish)
⋆ she likes to think of herself as a big sister to all the kids she looks after, no matter how big or small they are. sophia might be ~4 inches taller than her, but she's still maisy's tiny little baby. even when she's regressing with them, she's usually still in a comparatively older headspace.
⋆ she has a self-diagnosed, clinically insignificant case of cuteness aggression. she'll be in the break room with claire like look at all these photos of moira cuddling up to me, oh my god, isn't she cute, right?! while claire nods along to appease her. it helps that the photos are very cute.
⋆ in terms of her regression, it's mostly a tool she uses to try and cope with the stress she's under. she doesn't do it all that regularly, and she doesn't care for having a cg usually. if she's particularly stressed or upset, she'll go to claire for a snuggle, but that's about it.
⋆ her regression is pretty "girly". lots of cute dresses, disney movies and sweet smelling perfumes. meanwhile, sophia is in basketball shorts and a t-shirt that has a cat pun printed on it, eating twizzlers and complaining about how she wants to watch a documentary instead.

☆ sophia fortier → dating
sophia and maisy met at an anti-bioterror conference they were both forced to attend, and have been close ever since. while the romantic nature of their relationship is kept mostly private, anyone who knows them knows that they're inseparable
☆ claire redfield → close friend / cg
claire has a habit of getting attached to every kid she meets, which puts her in maisy's department pretty regularly, so it's no surprise they became friends pretty quickly. maisy didn't exactly intend to become one of those kids claire's taken under her wing, but she isn't complaining either.
☆ moira burton → friend
it's a well known fact amongst terrasave staff that wherever claire goes, moira is soon to follow, so their friendship was more of an inevitability than anything. maisy is currently in the midst of a not-so-serious fight for custody of little! moira with claire and barry.
