It's a lot easier to prevent cramps from getting bad than to stop them once they already are. Take the medicine sooner and use the heating pad sooner rather than later.

This is true of pain medication for ANY condition. My mom drilled this into me back when she worked as an O.R. nurse: Do not wait until the pain is bad. If you know it’s going to be, get ahead of it. First cramp? Medicate now. Twinges of a headache? Medicate now. Pulled your back and you know you’ll feel it later? Medicate NOW.

So Husband and I have been reading Howl’s Moving Castle together…

And we just got to the part this weekend where Howl gets a cold (which is so fitting because husband has a cold this week, though he is not dramatic about it).

So today we were chatting and HMC came up and we were talking about the funny bits and he thought Howl producing tissues out of nowhere was really funny. He imagined that Howl literally just had a box of tissues in his sleeve or something but Sophie assumed they were coming from nowhere.

I had always thought they were magic though, and thought about it and developed an instant Headcanon where Howl conjures tissues, but he steals them (just ike he steals logs for Calcifer).

Then I realized he probably steals them from Megan’s house.

Now I can’t stop imagining Howl magicking tissues out of their box on Megan’s coffee table one by one as needed and Megan finding they’ve ran out and wondering why her family goes through so many tissues at random intervals.

when booktokkies say publishers should start listing tropes on book covers like "enemies to lovers" "black cat golden retriever" "love triangle" "he falls first" I have to laugh these people approach reading as something that must be sexually gratifying to them the only other form of media labeled so specifically is pornography which is mostly fine but. oh my god just admit you don't care about storytelling

I'm actually a huge fan of enemies to lovers because I do think it's hot but to be clear "enemies to I think you're attractive and that's overcoming my hatred of you" sucks ASS the trope is about growing RESPECT and GENUINE AFFECTION the POINT is that they always found each other attractive but it doesn't MATTER until they also have a solid relationship built on trust respect and friendship!!!!! Do you understand my vision!!!!
