The throne was built as part of a temple complex by the emperor Ashoka around 250 BCE around the tree where the Buddha achieved enlightenment. Ashoka was perhaps the most powerful king in Indian history and a great promoter of Buddhism.

Largest moon of Mars. For many years there has been questions surrounding it's origin. Was it a captured asteroid somewhere in Mars' past, or like the Moon, was it formed from Mars in a collision. Recent evidence looks to point towards the latter, although it's still an open question.
